A Dark Perspective

A lot may dislike what I'm about to say

As you all may fail to see things my way

This is a dark poem written from the shadowy tendrils of my heart

As the truth is I would like to see this world ripped apart

I really dislike human beings

Rotten to the core even before they reach their teens

The rich living a life full of lavish

While the poor eat their scraps out from the rubbish

A world built on nothing but violence

Creating a false sense of security as the innocent suffer in silence

This hate inside me burns like a raging inferno

Wanting to destroy as the black ravens perch calmly below

You're all lucky that I am not God

For everything that I hate would surely be burnt with a flaming rod

Many may hate me and a throw a disgraceful taunt

But I really couldn't care less because I'm a Prince at nonchalant

This is my final stanza so I'll keep it short

Please become a better person and have a change of heart;

I want this world destroyed because of what it is

A revolution I seek where happiness lives....
