Chapter 007: Sleepover

Eru was suddenly woken up by Enyu as he tells her it's time to go back home. Still a little drowsy, Eri tries to ask for the time but she's to sleepy to say anything as all that comes out of her mouth is a yawn. Enyu tells Eri that they already got the couch into the trunk while she was asleep. Eri rubs her eyes, feeling sorry for not helping out, she tries to apologize but Enyu tells her to walk slowly as he slowly guides her back to the car.

Enyu knows how sleepy Eri must be, she had a long exhausting day today, and he wants her to get as much sleep as she needs. As he walks to the passanger side while holding Eri's hand, he make sures Eri get's inside safley as she nods off to sleep again. Enyu makes sure to buckle Eri's seat belt for her before he closes the door quietly and goes to the driver side, starting the car engine.

As Enyu begins to drive, he filled the quiet car with a gentle sweet hum, the hum was a song his mother would sing to him every night when he was younger, his heart begins to ache thinking about her as he puts more feeling into the hum. Eri slightly shifts in her seat, facing away from him, her eyes were open, looking out at the night sky. She finds Enyu's humming so warm and beautiful but she doesn't want to emberess him by letting him know she was awake, so she just continues to pretend to be asleep.

As Enyu continue's to hum, Eri felt something she has never felt before. Enyu's aura fills the car with so many feelings and emotions. It was like story being told and somehow, Eri was able to feel the exact feelings he is right now, which has never happened before. When Enyu's aura became cold and sad, so did she, and when he started to warm up, she did to. Eri didn't understand why she was able to feel his aura, but she belives it might be the closeness the two shared today, her hearts races from so many thoughts.

When the car suddenly stops, Eri jolts and quickly closes her eyes as Enyu turns off the engine's of the car as he gently shakes Eri to wake her up. Eri turns and opens her eyes slowly, pretending to have been asleep the whole time while yawning. "Where back home Eri" Enyu says giving her a warm smile as he gets out the car. Eri does the same as she gets out the car, as Enyu goes around the car to be face to face with her.

Enyu not wanting to make her do to much this late at night in her current state, he ask Eri to go inside and prepare to go to sleep. Eri shook her head telling him she didn't want him to overdo himself this late either as the two had a small bickering between each others preference. The two noticing what they were arguing about, they both gave a soft laugh and smiled. The moon shines onto the two of them as they stand there in silence.

Eri had a thought which could make sure both of then got what they want, she offers Enyu to park in the garage as they could deal with the couch situation tommorow. Enyu agreed on it, also thinking it was a good idea as he gets back into the car and turns the engine on. Eri walks to the garage door and punches a passcode in before it starts slowly opening. Eri gestered Enyu to carefully park inside, guiding him so he doesn't bump into anything as they manage to get the car inside.

Enyu gets turns off the engine again and gets out the car as Eri walks inside the garage, pressing ona button the close the garage doors. She told Enyu they could use the door iside the garage to get into the house as Enyu walks around the car following behind Eri in the house. The two of then fully exhasted they call it a day as he tells Eri to take a shower before him. Eri nods as she gets her clothes from the room and goes to the shower.

As Eri takes off her clothes she got into the shower and turned on some warm water, it was refreshing and nice, and it had a familiar feeling to Enyus happy aura. Eri blushes as she ask's herself why she's thinking of him in the shower as she covers her face, water running down her hair.

Enyu sits on the floor of the living room as he goes through the bag taking out the pair of clothes he bought. They were a very plain pair of brown shorts, some briefs, and a shirt which he thought was plain to. But as he catches a glimpse of something, he notices that the shirt was inside out.

When he turns the shirt back to its correct form, he notice a adorable bear at the front of the shirt. Enyu blushes as he understands Eri had swapped his shirt, and he finds it very adorable. Eri sneezes in the shower, she thought that she might catch a could if she was in there for to long and decides to get out, as she drys herself off with her tower and puts back on her clothes.

Eri looks at herself in the mirror but it was to foggy to see her reflection, she probably didn't look good anyways having a very low self esteem of her looks. Eri gets out the shower as she drys off her hair with the towel going into the living room to tell Enyu he could take a shower now. When Enyu hears her coming, he turns around and finds a stunning view, her hair and face glowed as the moonlight shines through the window.

Enyu notices how cute Eri was even with her hair covering her eyes most of the time, but with her hair all wet and pulled back as she dries it with her towel, he could really understand how stunning was and the words just slipped out his mouth "gorgoues".

Eri realizes what Enyu says and so does Enyu as the two of them both begin to turn read as they turned away from each other. "I'll get going to the shower now" Eri nods as she stepped aside as Enyu walks past her carrying his clothes and towel and closing the shower door. Eri just stands there with the towel on her head, still in shock at what Enyu had said.

Gorgoues, was he really saying that to a meek girl like me, Eri thought as places both her hand on her chest, feeling her heart thumping rapidly like it was about to burst. She doesn't believe she is gorgoues but she replays the memory of him saying it in her head as she smiles in happiness.

Enyu finishes up in the shower as he dries himself off with a spare towel in the bathroom and puts the clothes on, he looked at himself wearing the shirt, as he remebers what he said to Eri earlier and couldn't help but turn red from the emberessment.

Enyu leaves the bath as he see's Eri setting up two futons on the floor. Enyu goes up to Eri wonderinfnwhy she's placing a futon for herself, as she looks at Enyu a little shy still. She quietly tells him that they were going to have a sleepover and they'll have to sleep...close. As Eri blushes from the idea of sleeping next to a boy.

Enyu wonders if Eri had the wrong idea of what a sleepover was and tries to correct her that they didn't have to sleep next ti each other, fumbling his words a bit, "s-so it's fine for you to sleep in your own bed". Eri sits there looking down at the futon, and she finds herself feeling sad and hurt by what he might have been trying to imply. Eri gets up and brushes past Enyu, going into her room and falling face flat on her bed.

Why was she feeling so sad about jot being able to sleep close by Enyu, she knew he meant no harm by what he said, but she just felt mad, as she quietly yells into her pillow. After awhile, there was a knock at her room door, Enyu opens up the door, holding hid futon and walking inside before closing the door. Eri slowly moves her head to the side as she faces Enyu, no longer bearing her face in the pillow.

"Uhm, you don't mind me sleeping here on the floor do you, it makes me feel more at ease, and it'd be familair to sleeping the hospital" Enyu says quietly not to startle or hurt Eri anymore more then he already did.

Eri nodded as Enyu sets the futon on the ground and lays down. Eri apologizes to Enyu for the harsh reaction before, she didn't really understand why she reacted that way either. Enyu told her it was fine, the way he said it sounded mean, and he apologizes to. As the two lay on there respective spots in silence.

Eri ask something out of curiosity, though she was a little afraid to ask it, she wanted to know more about Enyu, so she blurts it out anyways. Her quiet voice filling them room "Why do you sleep at the hospital" she ask facing the wall and clenches her fist to prepare for the worse. "It's my mother, she's in a coma so i spend a lot of nights sleeping beside her" Enyu responds in a quiet and sad tone.

Eri's heart ache as she knows the pain of losing people, she didn't want Enyu to go through the same thing and tells him to have faith in his mother. If she is a great of woman as Enyu, she'll be out of that coma soon. Enyu smiles by Eri response and tells her she's a far more wonderful person then himself as he begind to hum the same song she heard in the car.

Eri listens in peace, as she lets him finish the sing. "My mon would always sing this to me before i would go to sleep, and it'd always work" he says in a happy voice, a bit of sorrow showed on his aura, showing how much he really loves and misses his mother.

In an attempt to cheer Enyu up, Eri begins to hum the song catching Enyu off gaurd. But as Eri continued to sing, Enyu begins to drift to sleep as he thanks Eri in his mind before falling asleep. Eri noticed that he was asleep now, glad that she was able to help him out as she stares at the ceiling if her room.

Eri thinks about everything that happened today, all the lovley and happy memories she made. She was so glad for all of them and was already cherishing all of them. Eri looked at Enyu, and she knows that he already had a very special place in her heart before she heads to sleep to.
