I stood there

I STOOD THERE!

It all seemed like a dream,

It seemed untrue,

It seemed or rather looked like fantasy,

I wasn't sure if I was fantasizing reality!

But I stood there.

I thought of turning back the sands of time,

I thought of yesterday, thought of tomorrow, the future,

Perhaps, everything would quickly go back to where they were,

I have done nothing, and yet the milliseconds kept on counting,

And the hour glass kept on pouring out the sand,

Yet I stood there.

I stood there,

I trying to fast forward my future,

Tried painting a perfect picture of you and I, Us!

It did not look so bright!

It was dwindling, so fuzzy,

There I go again, fantasizing, doing nothing.

But still I stood there.

I stood there,

Drenched in tears, feeling partial without you!

Seeing you not in my picture deranged me,

When I got to realize that I'm vertical to your coffer,

I stretched out my hand,

Now I'm supposed to face the world without you!

I'm scared that this is our last time together.

After all this time doing nothing!

Finally I did something,

I have touched you good bye.
