Why Hello Mr. Xi

In a dark dingy room, Lin Xiaoxiao who had been made to inhale a knock out drug woke up to see a familiar sight. It was the room from her memories. The room that her previous body's owner was made to live in when she lived with the Xi family. There were no lights on in the room. She could hardly see anything. But as her eyes adjusted, Lin Xiaoxiao saw a figure lying next to her. 

"Minmin?" Lin Xiaoxiao was stunned to see that the person next to her was of all people Minmin! 

"Mmm... Fairy Lily, you taste so good..." Lin Xiaoxiao would have facepalmed if her hands were not tied up. 'What the hell was this girl thinking about while she was sleeping!'

"Minmin wake up!" Lin Xiaoxiao kicked at Minmin with her foot. 

"What? Huh? Where did Fairy Lily's nak…" As Minmin looked around with her groggy eyes she spotted Lin Xiaoxiao next to her: "Fairy Lily!" As she was about to jump over into Lin Xiaoxiao's embrace she felt something was wrong as she realized her hands were tied up behind her back. She looked worriedly up at Lin Xiaoxiao "Fairy Lily what's going on where are we?" 

"You can consider this where I grew up...  It seems my so-called family decided to forcefully take me back. I'm sorry Minmin you got caught up in this as well." Lin Xiaoxiao had no idea why they would take Minmin as well. No matter how she thought about it there was nothing she could think of that would make her father want to kidnap Minmin along with her. 

"Fairy Lily what should we do?" Minmin was a little scared now that she realized what was going on. It was her first time experiencing such a situation like this.

"Shush… Someone is coming. Pretend to be asleep no matter what, do not say a word or let them know you are awake. No matter what happens. Do you understand?" Lin Xiaoxiao's firm tone made Minmin instantly quiet down. She nodded her head and laid back down on the floor again with her eyes tightly closed. 

Lin Xiaoxiao stared at the door as she watched it creak open. The light coming from the hall slightly blinded Lin Xiaoxiao. As her eyes adjusted to the brightness an older man in his mid-forties walked through the door. This man was none other than her biological father Xi Shen.

Seeing the man walk in a mocking smirk formed on Lin Xiaoxiao's face as she said: "Why hello Mr. Xi. What do I have the honor of having Mr. Xi so nicely invite me to his home for?" 

Her sarcasm did not go unnoticed as Xi Shen snorted: "An ungrateful little bitch like you sure learned to not be afraid since you were out on your own. Xi Xiaoxiao… No, wait it's Qin Lily Xiaoxiao now. Did you think you would be able to live freely for the rest of your life?"

Lin Xiaoxiao listened to his cold tone as he spoke as if he had everything under control. She couldn't help but inwardly smile. She wondered if this old man of her's would even think that he would be able to get away with this. "Do you think after kidnaping me off the movie set that you would be able to get away with it? Do you really think that no one would notice?" 

"That's nothing a little bit of money can not solve. You are too naive Xiaoxiao. Money talks in this world. The more money you have the more you can do. I brought you back here because you need to pay your dues to the family after we raised you for so many years. I learned that you got the leading role in a new movie coming up. It just so happens to be at a good time. Since your sister ruined the contracts we had with Empire Group you need to help the family out. The money you make from this movie and any future movies will be handed over to the family from now on." Suddenly a clapping sound could be heard coming from the hallway.

"Mr. Xi you are very right about one thing, money does make the world go around. But you are mistaken about everything else. My Xiaoxiao and her money have nothing to do with your Xi family. But I can say now that you have touched my Xiaoxiao you can forget about your Xi family ever climbing back up in the business world. Well after today you will need to figure out a way to keep yourself out of prison first. After that you can worry about your precious money" Shen Xing walked into the dark dingy room with his hands behind his back. A smile was plastered on his face. As he casually thought to himself 'Mhm a hero saving a beauty is the right away to go about this!' He was very pleased with himself at this moment and time as he wondered what reward his baby girl will give him later.
