She Was Awake!

While Shen Xing was pouring out his feelings, a seemingly sleeping girl was trying her best to not let the tears flow from her eyes as she heard what Shen Xing was saying. Every word pierced her heart, warming it beyond belief. Lin Xiaoxiao who had just woken up, right as Shen Xing started talking heard every word that he had said. She really wondered which god she saved in order to have such good luck in finding such a man who seems to wholeheartedly love her. 

However, the situation she was in now was somewhat awkward. She had just listened to Shen Xing spilling out all his feelings towards her so wouldn't suddenly waking up be really embarrassing right now? So Lin Xiaoxiao decided to fake like she was still asleep. There was no way she was going to suddenly wake up and face such an embarrassing situation. 

No one knows if it was heavens gift or if it was just King Yama himself that was bored and decided to play tricks on her. But all of a sudden Lin Xiaoxiao felt a tickle in her nose. Lin Xiaoxiao quickly tried her best to push the oncoming sneeze back but alas she was not able to and with grandeur, she let out a loud echoing sneeze that filled broken the silence of the room.

Yep now she felt awkward beyond belief. Lin Xiaoxiao's cheeks turned a tinge of red as she slowly opened her eyes. Since her cover was blown there was no need to keep pretending to be asleep. So she would put her all into pretending she had just woken up! 

Lin Xiaoxiao's eyes fluttered as they slowly opened up allowing the bright light from the room to pierce through the darkness of her eyes. She looked over at Shen Xing who just so happened to be looking at her with his eyes wide open. "Xing..." Lin Xiaoxiao said softly.

"Xiaoxiao! You're awake!" Not being able to hold his emotions in, Shen Xing got up from his chair and hugged Lin Xiaoxiao tightly.

"Xing it hurts..." Lin Xiaoxiao felt like she was about to be crushed she never realized how strong Shen Xing was! He was hugging her so tightly she felt like her bones were about to break!

Now it was Shen Xing's turn to be a little embarrassed since he overreacted a little bit. He bowed his head like a kid who did something wrong and said: "Sorry Xiaoxiao, I was just happy to see that you were awake. "

"No need to feel sorry Xing, I know you were just worried about me." A smile formed on Lin Xiaoxiao's face when she watched Shen Xing being so careful around her. Seeing how much this man in front of her cared for her. Lin Xiaoxiao decided she would do everything she could to make him happy. 

"Xing hows my mother?" Lin Xiaoxiao was worried that after she was knocked out that something might have happened to her after she was knocked out.

"Mom is fine she is in the other room resting with Little Bo. " The word "mom" naturally flowed out of Shen Xing's mouth. Shen Xing was happy that Qin Mei had said he could call her mom from now on. This meant that she accepted him finally. Since their first meeting, Qin Mei had been on guard against him but now that she told him that he can call her mom, he felt this was a very good thing. 

"Mom?" Lin Xiaoxiao, on the other hand, was somewhat confused on how Shen Xing was referring to Qin Mei. She realized all kinds of things had happened since she was knocked out and it had only been a few hours at most!

"Un. Miss Qin your mother told me to just call her mom for now on since the two of us will be getting married in the future. But more importantly, Xiaoxiao you have to promise me that in the future you will not just jump out on your own." Shen Xing never wanted this to happen again. So even if she had just woken up he had to mention this issue right away.

"Un! I won't… I will make sure that I have one of the bodyguards go in my stead like you said before..." Silence! Dead silence. Lin Xiaoxiao just realized what she said but it was already too late! 

Only one thing came to Shen Xing's mind at this moment. 'She was awake! She was actually awake when I was saying all those things!' Shen Xing's face turned completely red and for Lin Xiaoxiao who was staring at him and seeing every one of his reactions her first thought was 'He's too cute!'
