Nathaniel normally didn't spend much time with his colleagues at DLR Enterprises, but he figured that if he was going to learn more about his employees, he might as well spend time with them.
"No side hustles today, Nate?" one of his female coworkers teased.
He had always done some of his executive work over lunch and taken meetings in the guise of having side hustles to make extra money.
"I decided to take it slow," Nathaniel said with a grin as he sat down next to Benedict.
"You still owe me an explanation," Benedict whispered to him in a low voice.
Nathaniel only nodded as he considered how much of the truth he would tell the man next to him.
There was always the risk that Benedict had been sent to spy on him by the Syndicate, he made a mental note to ask Clark to look into the man's affiliations.
