Searching for the One and Only Ring

As Gu Mohan stood beside the bed and observed her neck with his deep and narrow eyes, something was missing. Earlier, he had already felt something amiss when he kissed her, it had taken until now to realize that the One and Only ring was missing from her neck.
"Mo'er, where's the diamond ring that I gave you?"
Diamond ring?
Tang Mo'er blinked, before she clenched her fists tightly and with her eyes narrowed, she glared at him ferociously, satisfied that her chance to take revenge was finally here. "I threw it away. Who asked for you to gift me with a diamond ring? I threw it into the pond!"
