"By the way, I'm sorry I was too exhausted when we arrived that I fell asleep as soon as my back hit the bed. I was not able to cook dinner tonight. Have you eaten already?"

Syra let out an audible gasped when she remembered that she missed one of her duties. When she realized that she had erred, she turned at Clyde and was quick to apologize to him.

But the other party only patted her shoulder.

"Of course I already ate. Why do you think I would starve myself? I am no fool. Besides, for the longest time, I survived eating nothing but food deliveries, remember?"

Clyde reminded her with a smile and Syra nodded her head silently.

"However, while I had my dinner for sure, I don't think that it was the same for you. I heard from Naomi that you did not touch your food."

Clyde added afterward and from the way he looked at Syra, it was apparent that his concern towards her was genuine.

"I got no appetite."
