New Roommate

Gu Xiao Xiao had only started working in the company for less than a week. Because her English was good, she has been in charge of translating some documents and as an intern, she hasn't been dealing with anything else.

After walking to her desk, Gu Xiao Xiao sat down in her chair. Before long, a small mountain had piled up on her desk, hurting Gu Xiao Xiao's head.

The car slowly entered University B. Because it was peak time for people leaving work, by the time they got back, it was already dark.

Gu Xiao Xiao and her friend chatted in low voices as they walked back to their dorm. They had just sat down when someone knocked on their bedroom door.

The four people dorm where Gu Xiao Xiao stayed at only had three people. Her, Chu Xiao Xi, and Li Yi Ran, who is doing her Master's. However, Li Yi Ran recently got a boyfriend and frequently does not return.

"Yi Ran is back…" Gu Xiao Xiao went to open the door. But she only spoke out half a statement before she stopped. Because the person behind the door wasn't Li Yi Ran, but Jin Jing.

"What are you doing here?" Chu Xiao Xi clenched onto her own clothes, she already had a hunch in her mind.

"We are going to be roommates from now on. I hope you two will take care of me."

Jin Jing's smile was like milk with too much sugar in it. It sickened Gu Xiao Xiao and Chu Xiao Xi.

They exchanged glances and they were speechless. Jin Jing's mother was a professor for one of their courses. That was a relationship they had no control over.

Whatever good mood they had dissipated at once. Gu Xiao Xiao and Chu Xiao Xi both knew that Jin Jing's arrival is not that simple.

Mu Yun Fan is already hers, isn't he? Her coming here was to make people here feel bad.

"Gu Xiao Xiao, I am a little hungry. Let's go grab some food."

Chu Xiao Xi glared at Jin Jing with a dark expression, then dragged Gu Xiao Xiao out of their dorm room. After they exited the room, they exhaled deeply in unison.

"Our wonderful two people world is over just like that?" Looking at Gu Xiao Xiao, Chu Xiao Xi said with much sorrow.

"It won't be that bad! Maybe she will be like Yi Ran, who's never home?" Gu Xiao Xiao comforted.

"Like Yi Ran?" Chu Xiao Xi chuckled, "You mean, she will spend all her nights at her boyfriend's dorm room?"

The moment Chu Xiao Xi said those things, Gu Xiao Xiao looked unnaturally petrified.

"Gu Xiao Xiao." Chu Xiao Xi noticed her reaction. "I know this isn't my place, but I have to remind you. It's over between you and Mu Yun Fan. You shouldn't keep him in your heart. He doesn't deserve you."

The two held hands and strolled around campus. There was no snow, but it was gloomy.
