Bringing Grandma to City B

At the mention of those two, Gu Xiao Xiao's eyes darkened by a fraction. Chu Xiao Xi realized she wore her heart on her sleeve and her words were blunt, so she tried to change the subject. Unexpectantly, Gu Xiao Xiao continued.

"But I also met you guys. Without you guys, I don't know what my days would be like."

Gu Xiao Xiao's voice was soft as she told Chu Xiao Xi how she's been feeling these days.

Chu Xiao Xi has never met the elder Gu Xiao Xiao was talking about, but she respected her nonetheless.

"She doesn't know about you and my brother, right? And you are too scared to tell her. How about you introduce him to her first, and see how it goes? Maybe she will like my brother?"

"Bring her over?" Gu Xiao Xiao hesitated. She hasn't thought of that. "Grandma doesn't like City B much. I'm not sure if she would agree to come here."

"If you ask she will agree! You are on break these days anyway. How about this. I will go back with you to bring back your grandma. What do you say?"

Chu Yi Chen gave Gu Xiao Xiao two weeks off, which was enough for her to visit home. However, Chu Xiao Xi didn't feel good about leaving Gu Xiao Xiao home alone, especially when Chu Yi Chen and herself will both be busy during New Year's.

Plus, that elderly is Gu Xiao Xiao's only relative and now that Gu Xiao Xiao was one of the Chu's, it made sense. They should all meet.

Chu Xiao Xi noticed that Gu Xiao Xiao was hesitating and indecisive, so she continued, "These days, I am my own bottleneck. So I want to look around as well. Gu Xiao Xiao, just take me with you. What do you say?"

"Senior, hello." Walking over, Gu Xiao Xiao greeted with a grin, "How did you find the time to come back to school?"
