Chapter 4 a traumatising experience

"No. I don't think he have a chance to. Right, did brother saved me alone? Because I vaguely remembered that I accidentally hit someone," Huang zhilan rubbed her painful hair that was gripped tightly by sheng li earlier.

Ke liling face was a bit stunned but after a second,  she laughed. "So that's why young master gu have been holding his chest as if his heart was stomped. Turns out, you pushed him away".

Huang zhilan eyes widened. "Brother Gu also come along?"

Ke liling saw that she was asking a question in casual but the expression she have was clearly asking if he's alright.

She just laughed and made huang zhilan blushed

"Aiyaa.....you are so cute. If you like him just confess.  I'm sure he will consider it. Now, you need to take a bath and then I can put ointments on your bruises," Ke liling shook her head and she helped huang zhilan to the bathroom.

Ke liling didn't close the door completely and left a small gap in case huang zhilan need her help for undressing herself and going to the bath.

Seeing that she's fine, Ke liling then chose a pink top and hot pants and put them on the bed. She was pondering wether to chose for her bra and underwear or not when huang zhilan walked out from the bathroom with a towel clud on her body.

"Sister ling, I'm sorry for bothering you," Huang zhilan apologized as she winced in pain when the cotton that have ointment on it touched with her swolled cheek. She have dressed and ke liling was putting on sone ointments on her bruised areas.

Ke liling chuckled and she patted gently on her cheeks with the cotton before throwing it to the dustbin. "Its alright. Furthermore, your brother know that you don't like the servants helping you. We are considered as sisters already and its my job to take care of you and your brother".

Huang zhilan then moved and looked at ke liling who was packing the medical kit. Ke liling have been married with her brother for about a year now and the two was so in love but that didn't means that her brother have stopped taking care of her. She was grateful that her brother have a wife like ke liling who is beautiful and gentle.

"You don't want to come down?" Ke liling asked as she turned the door knob.

Huang zhilan nodded and followed her out.

Meanwhile, huang peizhi and gu junjie were sitting in the living room and gu junjie have his suit jacket off and the first five buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned, showing his sexy collarbone and muscular chest. He was taking a rest when he heard sound of different footsteps heading towards the living room.

He opened his eyes and saw that its Huang zhilan and Ke liling.

"Her cheeks were swollen but its alright now and aside from some light bruises on her wrists, there's nothing else," Ke liling obviously saw the worrying look of gu junjie and answered his questioning look.

Gu junjie nodded. "That's good". A relief rolled out from his mouth and he finally could rest his heart in peace.

Huang zhilan sat on a single couch and stared at her brother, "What happened to sheng li?"

"Ahh....that.....Junjie handled him. I haven't asked him what he will do to him, " Huang peizhi turned to gu junjie.

Gu junjie rested his hand on the sofa arm and crossed his legs. "I just tortured him a bit and plucked some of his nails off".

Huang zhilan shivered a bit but think that she can't blame gu junjie for being heartless. She have received a traumatising experience and probably she can't rubbed it off forever. Her complexion have gotten better but her face was still pale.

Gu junjie was worried that huang zhilan would oppose his ways but instead he was surprised seeing her quietly approving it. Does that mean that she didn't felt disgusted of his ways handling his enemies?

Huang peizhi lip twitched seeing gu junjie poker face but he know that deep down that man must be cheering inside since his precious sister approved his actions. "Junjie, do you want to stay for dinner?" He forced a smile and asked despite knowing that the man would have made himself stayed here probably until dawn but he still need to ask out of gratitude since he have helped him.

Gu junjie poker face didn't reveal anything. He just made a short agreement, "Mmm".

Ke liling saw her husband forcing a smile on in spite that he was burning in fuel inside. "Now now, why don't you men discuss of your business things while I and zhi cook for dinner?"
