A Surprise for Zabuza
Currently I'm sitting outside in a tree reading, I'm up earlier then most the others so I can concentrate. I'm reading the bingo book profile for Zabuza. Every sentence makes me more anxious, if I'm going to beat him I'll need a damn good plan or I'll be sent to an early grave. I'm mostly worried because the land of Waves is probably the absolute worst location to fight him and his water jutsu...
After waiting for about 2 hours everyone seems to be up, Tsunami offers me breakfast but I already ate some small animals I hunted so I'm fine. Once everyone else is done eating they approach me to tell me what's our plan is. Apparently my dads team will train first and we'll follow Tazuna, although Zabuza is still recovering we might have to fight others so it's best to be on guard. However my plans soon changed when my Dad mentioned I'm going to be with his team for a few hours.
After arriving at the location were going to train at I learn why I was brought along. My dad wants to show how my team has a headstart as we all had people teaching us from a young age. He explains how team 7 doesn't use their chakra as effectively as they could. Afterwards he gets me to do the tree walking exercise which involves using chakra on the bottom of your feet to walk up trees and various other surfaces. It's easy as breathing for me at this point so I walk up rather high before deciding to come back down. I look at my dads team before opening a book and sitting under the tree I climbed.
Eventually team 7 is told to try, it was hilariously bad except for Sakura who was surprisingly good at it earning my attention. Even if we she has good chakra control the other 2 have much larger reserves so in the long run she'll be worse off but for now she has something she beats them both at. After they fail to succeed my dad decides to drop a bomb on team 7 that I've already learned this by the time I was 6. Sakura simply seemed impressed, the others however seemed to have a fire under their ass to improve however. After giving them the motivation to improve my dad walks over to me before handing me a paper and telling me to put my chakra in it. Although I already know earth style jutsu he actually taught me those based on the assumption I had the affinity. I take the paper and put my chakra into it before watching it do three things, the whole thing crumpled up while parts burned and other crumbled into dirt. Earth, fire, and lightning, I'm glad because Asuma can at the very least teach me fire style jutsu. I think back to my test with Asuma and how if I had known I had the affinity I might of actually used a jutsu on him instead of just the trick.
My dad tells me it's about time I learned a new jutsu and I'm all for it, anything to help me improve. I practice for the next few hours before I notice its almost time for me to meet up with my team, however before I leave I see the whole of team 7 heading towards me including my dad. I assume it's to tell me it's time but what actually happens surprised me. Apparently my dads way of showing the gap between our teams wasn't enough because he tells Naruto and Sasuke to spar with me. They both look excited at the idea so I agree and we head over to a more open area.
Looking at the two I'm unsure how they'll go about this. Maybe just attack head on, I was apparently right in my thoughts as Naruto immediately makes two clones and rushes me. Since they have the numbers I'm going to take a different approach. As naruto hits me I quickly substitute away to a nearby tree where I can watch them. I make a clone who sneaks around them and approaches from the other side pretending to rush Sasuke, as he turns to face it I make my move dashing behind him with a kunai. Before he can react I have it place to his neck and one arm behind his back. The commotion attracted Narutos attention who turned face us, meeting his gaze I apply a little pressure to Sasukes arm.
MC - "Give up or I'll kill him" I say in a cold voice in order to not betray my true feelings.
My dad decides to intervene once he realized Naruto can't free Sasuke but he also wont surrender. Ending the spar I let Sasuke free who quickly jumps away and stares at me with a feral look to his eyes. I simply smirk and walk off to go meet my teammates.
The day goes by fast since I was training for a out half of it and before I know it we're back at Tazunas. My dad spends his time mostly talking to Asuma probably updating him on what we learned today. After a while people decide to eat dinner but I don't just like this morning. This morning a got food for myself because nobody was up but my reasons are different this time. Walking back from the bridge I noticed how food was much more sparse here then I had orginally thought. It's safe to assume Tazunas family has little to spare so I'll get my own, before I leave however I hear Naruto and Sasuke eating more then their fill which irks me but they don't know so I can't blame them I suppose. The days go by quickly and before I know it six days have passed.
I decide to sleep outside that night since the house felt cramped with so many people, my team actually joined me much to Inos disappointment. Waking up the next day we eat some game we caught nearby, enjoying our breakfast my dad, Sasuke, and Sakura join us. Apparently Naruto is still asleep so I'm going to the bridge with them today since on the first day I skipped out on a few hours of bridge duty. Grabbing my gear I head off with the present members of team 7. It's been about a week which means if Zabuza recovered well he'll be coming for us soon. Walking up to the bridge we see the bodies of multiple workers laying in blood on the bridge. Although a grim scene it brings a smile to my face, the fight I've been waiting for is here!
Taking a defensive position we start to hear Zabuza all around us, pointing out the missing Asuma and taunting my dad and Sasuke. He's trying to get us riled up. Suddenly multiple Zabuza appear around us only for Sasuke to deal with them, as the clones explode into water Zabuza and the hunter nin slowly walk down the bridge towards us.
The fights begins with the hunter nin rushing towards us, Sasuke intervened at stops him halfway but before anyone can react I appear next to them and kick our opponent in the side launching him into some barrels on the side of the bridge. The ninja quickly makes some hand seals and I see the water begin to move, in reaction I quickly grab Sasuke and throw him away before a serious of Squares made of us surrounds me. I suddenly see the mirrors all have a reflection of the missing nin. Suddenly my mind screams at me to dodge moving to the side as fast as possible before I feel the familiar sting of a cut on my side.
I couldn't see what it was, before I could try to figure out what had hit me however an onslaught of attacks begun. Dodging all i could and accumulating cuts on various parts of me I realized I need a solution fast, I quickly make some hand signs while using a show of acrobatics to dodge various attacks. "Fire style Great Fireball Jutsu!" using the technique my dad gave to me on the first day of training I launch my attack on the ice mirrors. Before the flames can die down and projectile launches at my and embedded itself in my shoulder, afterwards the flames dissipated revealing the perfectly intact mirrors. I hear from behind me the sound of ice breaking, turning to face I see no gap in the wall but I do see Naruto inside with me? This fool jumped in on his own. He informs me that he brought my team with him however after goons attacked Tazunas house. As he tells me this I hear numerous explosions from outside when the hunter nin is launched out of the mirrors and right towards me. Realizing my chance I leap forward bring out my tanto and swinging, he reacts and brings a kunai to block but the swing pushes him downward into the ground. I land and form handsigns knowing I'll be close to out of chakra "Fire style Fireball Jutsu!" as I launch the fire from my lips I see the hunter nin get up and try to dodge but not quickly enough as the attack leaves half of him badly burned.
With the weakened state our opposition was in Naruto rushes forward managing to kick him, the attack was strong enough to launch him back breaking ome of the mirrors. As the boy lays on the floor I rush up and attempt to kill him with my weapon. Before I can reach him however my eyes widen as everything I see slows to a crawl. I can see a thick blade nearing my torso about to bisect me and Zabuza beside me, I'm going to die I thought to myself in panic.
