Chapter 47 - The Two Alone

"Violet, what are you doing?" Cassiel asked the girl who was trying to force her way out to the balcony without using her hands.

She was carrying a bottle of wine and a glass like it was the most precious thing in the world.

"I'm trying to touch the moon, it's beautiful tonight…" She pressed her face on the cold window and looked up.

"You can't, you drank too much already… You need to go to bed right now…"

"Cieeeeel, please… Just a look?" She used her puppy eyes on him and there was no path for him to retreat.

"But don't step too close to the railings…" He reluctantly opened the door and let her out on the balcony.

"Moooon!"

His words were like air to her, and Violet ran to the railings as soon as she stepped outside. Cassiel was expecting her to break her promise and swiftly took her back by the waist.

"Huh… why?!"

"I told you to stay away… You are too drunk already."
