In the backseat of the GT, Angel and Harvey sat playing games on her phone. The loud boop-beeping of the Pacman and the giggles coming out of their mouths sounded in the air around Jenarius and into his ears.

The trio were parked outside the St. Mark’s church, awaiting a call from Javier Fernandez, in the State of Indiana (a 13-hour drive away from Massachusetts).

Jenarius was in the driver’s seat with his arms crossed, his green eyes were scrutinizing every passing being outside the car.

He didn’t trust that The Mist hadn’t tried to locate them yet, if only to scare them for a while. He didn’t trust the time they had left, either.

Angel had told them he only came out on death dates and he had witnessed that- that was true when Katherine died but then how had he travelled all the way to Washington State to possess that kid whose brains had splattered all over the ground?

Had he grown more powerful?
