38 Busy Day...

Anna takes the lift and enter her floor while carrying all her belongings and going through the mails in her phone.

"Good Morning Anna" Lily greets her at the cabin entrance and takes away her bag and file while handing the coffee which have been a routine for Lily every morning.

"Good Morning Lily and Thanks for the coffee. What is the update on the new assignment, have you received any update from them as to when will they be coming for a meet?" Anna greets back and inquires about the meeting which was planned for today morning as informed by her Boss.

"No Anna, haven't got any update from them. I will chase them for you and will keep you posted" Lily replies back while placing the stuff on her table.

"Thanks again Lily, you make my work much easier"

Anna scans and finds no one except Xian's iPad on the side sofa table. She turns towards Lily to ask his whereabouts when hears the door open and sees Xian walking in.

"Good Morning Ms. Anna, hope you had a lovely weekend" Xian walks in carrying his own coffee and winks at Anna while greeting her in teasing way.

"Very Good Morning Mr. Xian, I had a lovely weekend but I think even you have enjoyed yourself. You finally got a nice company I guess to keep you occupied" Anna replies back in teasing way.

"Good Morning Mr. Xian, you can let me know about your coffee preferences and I shall deliver you the same as Anna". Lily greets Xian and bows in respect.

"Good Morning Lily and Thank you for the suggestion. If it won't add much on your shoulders then I would prefer black coffee with one spoon of sugar please" Xian greets back while giving a warm smile.

"No worries Sir. I will leave you too then and will share the details with you Anna" Lily walks out of the cabin and locks the door behind.

Anna picks up her laptop and starts walking towards the sofa when Xian holds her from back.

"Is my babe angry because of the joke I made just now" Xian speaks while kissing on her back neck.

"Xian…behave this is my cabin and I don't want people to speak oddly about us and yeah I am not angry just planning to give my boyfriend comfortable place to work. I am more comfortable on sofa" Anna turns back and replies while holding Xian's big face in her tiny arms.

"Haha…Babe I am comfortable here. It's your cabin and I don't want people to think low of you" Xian holds her hand and walk back again to the table and make her sit on her chair.

"This place belongs to you and suits you babe. And I enjoy the view from that sofa so don't feel bothered and start you work" Xian places a kiss on her forehead and walks back to the sofa. He settles on the sofa and starts working on his iPad.

The following day passes by with continuous calls from different departments and clients for Anna keep her full occupied, Lily kept chasing the company for the meeting details with no proper luck in getting arranged one. Xian on the other hand was also occupied with few calls related to his company and kept roaming around for work.

Xian walks in to the cabin and sees Anna continuously typing on her laptop while talking with someone on her landline. He goes and stand next to her and waits for her to hang up the phone.

As soon as Anna hangs up the phone, he rotates the chair and makes Anna come face to face with him. Anna holds his face in her hands and speaks softly "Are you bored or tired, need anything"

Xian pulls out her hands and places the sandwich on her hands "I bet you haven't checked the clock, it's already 3pm babe. At least have this and then we can go out for dinner". He then places two cold coffees on her desk.

"So sweet of you, I am so sorry I am the one who must be arranging these for you and here I am stuck with my work and completely forgot about lunch. Do you want me to arrange something nice for you?" Anna gets up after realizing and was about to take a step from her desk when Xian holds her back and make her sit.

"I am fine dear, and it's ok. I can understand your struggle and thus got the little refreshment. But yeah you can compensate for it with a dinner date. What say?" Xian drags another chair and sit next to her while replying.

"Sound cool my dear boyfriend, let me prepare a feast for you then tonight" Anna replies while giving a small peck on his cheeks.

After completing the lunch both gets back to their normal routine. Lily walks in and tell that the CEO of the company is now travelling and thus couldn't conduct the meeting for today and he has left a message via his secretary that will contact you directly for scheduling the meeting. As the meeting got cancelled for today and both of them were too tired due to the continuous work, they decides to call it an off.

Anna packs her things and informed Lily about her early departure. She even gives a heads up to her boss about the daily work and the next day schedule before picking up her keys and taking the elevator to the basement. Xian on the other hand logs out early and excuses himself to walk before Anna and waits next to her car in the basement.

"Not bad, you remember our deal" Anna replies while smiling at Xian.

"Then what, I still want to have my dinner date tonight" Xian smiles back while taking Anna's stuff from her hands and placing everything in the back seat while taking the passenger seat.

"Why don't you allow me to drive the car, it's quite weird to sit in the passenger seat Anna" Xian questions while tugging his seat belt.

"You want to drive, I am ok with it". Anna replies instantly making Xian widen his eyes in shock.

"Are you serious, you could have said it earlier? Come then let's exchange our seats" Xian jumps out of his passenger seat and run towards the other side. Anna steps out at the same time and exchange her seat.

Xian makes himself comfortable on the driver seat and starts the engine with wide smile.
