A new member

"So I have to register under the Adventurer's Ventures to be able to pursue after the demon queen?" I asked the woman who sat at the reception desk.

I had boasted in the last inn that I was going to defeat the demon queen and make her my slave. I was drunk. Remember that! I'm still the strongest, remember that too!

I was asked if I had joined a guild under an Adventurer's club and I said no. That was how Birdynn and I were directly to this place. To be able to defeat the demon queen. I remain the strongest!

The woman who sat at the reception desk was a middle-aged auburn tigress. She had a fierce-looking face and didn't act friendly. "If you want to defeat the demon queen you have to register under us and get a license," she yelled at me.

Who did she think she was talking to? I have no doubt she didn't know I was the strongest man alive. I was going to teach her a lesson.

No! I warned myself. I wasn't going to act like those imperial soldiers and bully weak civilly– like her.

I nodded at her words, "I will register under you if you insist," I said with a very irresistible elegant smile. I could feel the chemistry between us spark.

She hissed and the spark died. Who did she think she was? "You need at least three members to register. Didn't you read the sign on the door," she yelled.

Which sign is on the door? I wondered. So there was a sign on the door. She should have said so earlier.

Later when I had my business finished here I was going to give the place a two star. Their customer service was shit.

A young lady with round-rimmed glasses entered the room. She ran to the desk as fast as she could, "Tianne, why didn't you ring me that we had a customer?" She asked in a soft tone.

I changed my mind. Because of this beauty, I was going to give them five or six stars. It wasn't because I liked her or anything. I was helping civvies.

What surprised me was that this rude-looking Kraken was called Tianne. Such a waste of a beautiful name. The lady who had just entered looked at me and flashed a beautiful smile at me.

I felt Cupid shoot an arrow through my heart.

She had the most beautiful red eyes and her lips were so beautiful I would have missed it. I was very controlling of myself, I didn't imagine her naked.

Give me some breathing space!

She explained the rules to me.

The requirements to defeat the demon queen are as follows; you must be registered as a guild, you must have not less than three members in your guild, one or more of your members must be a magical beast, and you cannot leave a guild permanently but can transfer from one to another.

She made me understand everything and I thanked her for that. "I don't have a magical beast or a third member," I told her. She nodded.

"Mistaike!" She screamed in a high-pitched voice. I wondered whom she was calling.

A few minutes later a small-looking child appeared, "What is it Mitch," she asked as she rubbed her eyes.

So her name was Mitch. Such an elegant name, I thought.

Mitch pointed at me as she looked at Mistaike, "You'll be a part of that guild since you've always wanted to be part of one," she said.

Mistaike's eyes widened in excitement. She began to hover around me. Tianne was laughing silently in a corner. I didn't care.

Mitch explained to me that Mistaike was a rare magical beast. She was still a baby elemental dragon.

Most dragons either breathed; fire or water or air. But not two or three at a time. Mistaike was different in the fact that she could breathe out any element at will.

The only problem was that was still a child and didn't know how to control her power and nobody wanted to train her.

She was happy she had finally found Mistaike a home.

Within a short frame of time, Mitch got us registered. As you all would have thought, yes, our name was Elixir.

To remind you, I was the one that agreed on the name Elixir. Birdynn thought of it. I remain the strong est.

So the Elixir as a guild was made up of; the strongest man alive, a muscled-brained beauty, and a lolita magical beast. We couldn't have been matched better.

Thus began our great journey to defeat the demon queen.
