Late Sunday Afternoon/Early Evening
When they came back that afternoon showered and shaved, Kitty was sitting up, but dozing. The dressing needed to be changed often. She wasn’t as cranky as she was on Saturday, but she was still groggy from the morphine.
Nurse Conti told them the doctor talked to Bobby and Keith. Jason was anxious to hear what the doctor said and was pissed that he came during the few hours he and Zach were gone. Jason had finally recovered from the emotional trauma of Kitty’s two surgeries and he wanted answers. Once he heard Bobby had seen the doctor he began to blurt out questions.
