Saturday Afternoon

Two days later, Kitty was not responding to treatment and constantly complained of the pain in her stomach. She also couldn’t move her bowels. The surgeon brushed it off as a child experiencing real pain for the first time. Zach wasn’t so sure. He called Jake. “Can you recommend any good surgeons? Kitty had a ruptured appendix. They are treating her and she isn’t getting any better.”

“I’m calling Dr. Ziegler at St. Mary’s in Trenton. They’ll have a chopper come and pick her up. I’ll call David right now and make sure he calls your surgeon.”

The Jersey Shore doctor, Doctor Martinson was abrupt with Zach, but he didn’t care because this was Kitty who needed help; any assholes along the way would be dealt with by Bobby, Reggie, or Keith.
