Chapter 31

Someone knocked on the office door. “Zach, you in there?” It was Keith; Zach ignored him.

“Can I come over tonight and stay with you? We’ll drop Kitty off at day care in the morning and we can arrange to have the money to get the house overhauled. Then I’ll take you to the house in Asbury so you can see if it’s suitable for us to stay there while we fix yours. I don’t want you to worry about anything anymore. You’ve already had enough worry to last a lifetime.” Zach kissed Jason again.

“Zach? Are you okay?” There was an insistent knocking on the office door.

“I’m fine. I’ll be out in a few minutes. Don’t get your panties in a twist.”

Zach heard Keith’s retreating footsteps.

“Let me come home with you,” Zach begged.

“I love you, Zach. You can come anywhere I go. I’ll never stop wanting you.” Jason sighed. “But, you’ll have to sleep on the couch one more night until tomorrow when we tell Kitty.” Zach’s eyes sparkled. “I don’t want her to walk in on us naked.”
