Unexpected Events That Night

Just when they had seen a glimmer of hope when they saw a car passing near them, everything was shattered when whoever was inside the car was the bad guy.

Five men came out of the car with baseball bats in their hands. Adrian, realizing the danger, immediately pushed Avians away from them.

"Avi, get in the car and lock the door. Now!"

Avians opened the car door and got inside. She locked the door as Adrian had said. From inside the car, she could see that her husband was fighting the men with his bare hands.

He was being attacked from all directions, but Adrian deftly dodged all the attacks. Adrian lowered his body when a man swung the bat at him.

"Who are you?! Why are you attacking us?" he asked in a high, angry tone.

However, they did not answer and continued to attack Adrian. The attack that didn't hit the man, hit his car instead because Adrian was protecting his car since Avians were inside.
