Mariela's POV
"Mariela, we safely landed in Minglapolis; you should get up now and fix yourself." I heard Archer's cold voice, and I realized I was asleep almost the entire flight, and I didn't even get up when I felt some turbulence. I don't want to get up since I could still feel the pain, and I know it should be the best and happiest day of my life, yet I am in too much pain.
"Ella, you must move now; the driver will not wait for you." My husband spoke again, and I grunted as I slowly got up from the bed, realizing he must cover my frame with a blanket, no wonder I fell asleep quickly. I found it sweet, but I should not think of it that way, or I might end up frustrated again, and when I turned around and looked at him, he was already at the door with my suitcase, and I used my fingers to comb my hair.
