Heizen woke up in a groggy mood, holding his head. His mind was in chaos and his spirit seemed so full that it felt like it would burst out of his body the next second.

"Hah," Heizen breathed deeply. After the pain subsided, he felt unprecedentedly serene. It was like some kind of door had been opened inside him with infinite potential. 

After resting his mind, he then looked at the notification. 

"Well, 10 soul power is not bad." He thought.

As for the agonizing pain, he had selectively put them aside. He was beginning to get used to it. 

"What do you mean the condition for unlocking the profession is unknown?"

He thought but could only put it aside. He would do some research when he had time. 

Actually, he thought that he would need to grind his level from the bottom to the top. 

If that was truly the case, he didn't know what kind of "Good Luck" he would encounter. Frankly, he was a little scared. 

However, looking at his increased level, he couldn't help but grin. As long as he didn't encounter anything outrageous, his path to power would be foolproof. 

After coming out of his dream, Heizen looked at the 25 free attribute points. 

First, he instantly added 15 points to his mental power (MP) to get the skill. 

After Heizen added the 15 points in one go, he felt his mental power grew at a rapid pace. Since his soul was powerful, he didn't experience pain like before.

Heizen felt that a small part of the blue tinge from the white light had disappeared somewhere in his mind.

Looking at the notification, Heizen couldn't hide his smile. This time, he made a real profit. 

Without waiting, he quickly activated the Divine sense. The moment the skill was activated, he felt that his vision uncontrollably expanded. 

He could now sense anything within the 500 meters clearly within his mind. The 360-degree vision of the rooms around him instantly gave him too much information. 

This feeling was unprecedented as Heizen only canceled it when he felt his mind getting heavier. 

The only issue was the mana array installed around the room. It could obstruct his divine sense to some extent. But, this issue would probably be resolved in the future with increasing stats. 

After calming his excitement, Heizen began to distribute the remaining 10 stats. He added 5 points to strength and 5 to stamina. After feeling the increased body strength, he opened his status panel.

Looking at his stats, Heizen was satisfied. Finally, he felt relatively safe. Now, all he needed to do was to learn the beginner-level spells. 

So, he placed the book aside and went out of the dormitory. The sun was already high in the sky. 

He followed the map in his hand and quickly found the small distribution building. There was a small line of people waiting in queue. 

So, he waited for a while until his turn and showed his identity card to the person in charge. 

The person in charge was an old man in a blue robe. He placed the card near the mini Mana Archive and confirmed his identity. 

"Hmm, 3-star Life affinity. You can choose between healing or combat-type spells. I suggest you use a healing spell as a foundation for a better future." The old man said.

"I choose combat-type spells." Heizen had already thought about what to choose on the road.

The old man looked at him carefully but didn't dissuade him. He picked up a mana ring, a basic staff, and a small thumb-sized elliptical crystal from the drawer. 

"As a newcomer, you will get a standard robe, a mage-staff, a Nexus, and a chance to choose a spell model from the archive. I have already set the spell to combat-oriented. So, go to the main hall and use this Nexus to choose your spell."

The old man continued.

"Remember, you can only choose one spell for free. Additional spells are expensive and you need to earn contribution points to purchase them. Also, don't forget to complete the regular mission on time." He advised habitually. 

Heizen quickly picked up his things and thanked the old man. 

After coming out of the building, he went towards the main hall after wearing the standard dark blue robe.

He quickly went to the right corridor towards the mission hall. After arriving at the mission hall, he saw many people running around. This almost looked like the Adventurer guild. 

After looking around, he saw an open room with a unique structure in a far corner. There were many cubicles with elliptical grooves carved into the structure in the shape of a Nexus. 

According to the old man, this place uses Nexus to connect with the Mana-Archive and inscribe the spell model directly to the mind. 

A beginner mage couldn't learn the spell model easily due to their low mental power. Actually, the threshold to become an official mage was to mentally inscribe the Tier 1 spell also called the elemental ring. 

That's why the first free spell model you chose was very important. You wouldn't get direct infusion opportunities easily in the future. 

However, Heizen could quickly increase his mental power by leveling up without external help. So, he chose the combat-type spell as his first one. 

After he arrived at the grove, he placed the Nexus inside while standing at the designated platform.

A white light quickly covered the Nexus and the process was about to begin when suddenly the cold voice of the System appeared in his mind.
