ALMOST

Ivan and Jobel are both feeling nervous but they can't show it to the person in front of them. They already emitted their pheromones too much, so they are hoping that Jaime won't notice the sweet Pheromones of his Omega. The situation is quite dangerous for the three of them.

Jaime is a dominant alpha, we can tell that Ivan is also a dominant alpha, but of course, if Jaime found out that Daveryl is currently having his differentiation inside the room, and he is the reason behinds it. Not only Daveryl is in danger but also those who hides the fact from Jaime.

"Why didn't you wait for me at my office? You can just go there directly and wait for me." Ivan speak normally as he slowly approaches the man.

He even gestures his hands for Jobel to don't enter the room until they are not far away.

They all both know that Jaime is overprotective to Daveryl. But that was before, the situation is already twisted and they all don't know what he might do to Daveryl once he found out the truth. He maybe was good with Daveryl before but for sure, he will hates him if he knew that he slept with him.

"It's fine, I actually went to my personal Doctor. But what are you two doing here?" Jaime takes a look at the door behind Jobel. "Is your friend inside?" He is now asking Jobel.

The Alpha who felt overpowered, just nodded his head and didn't utter any words. At the same time, Ivan hold the hand of Jaime and invites him to go. But the situation is really making them all uncomfortable, because when they are about to leave, a loud yell from inside stopped everyone.

Jaime frown and slowly turning back to look at Jobel and might also asked. But the boy is no longer on his post and Ivan is doubtly pulling him. More importantly, why does he feels an urge to open the closed door?

"Who was that?" He asked.

He even touched his pheromones gland before asking. Honestly, he feels burning inside him although he can't smell anything due to the Alpha pheromones emitting in the air.

"A friend of Jobel, let's go." Ivan answered as he also turned to continue walking.

He looks so anxious and a bit nervous. Who wouldn't be? If you'll be in his situation, you think you won't feel nervous, especially when you're trying to hide something?

"Oh by the way, how's your Omega? I heard from Jobel that you are planning to inform the public about you having an Omega?" Ivan is trying to change the topic.

Jobel didn't say anything to him. He just got the information from Elli, Jaime's assistant which actually his friend too. That's why, he feels more angry when he summarized everything.

"It's just a plan." Jaime sparingly said.

Ivan frown, why does it sounds like he's not serious about it?

"I have more serious problem than that." Jaime speaks again.

Ivan frown get deeper as he look at him. "More serious? What exactly do you mean by that?""

Jaime sigh before answering. "Daveryl ran away from home. He didn't contact me nor talked to me since last night until now. I know he is mad at me because I marked the older sister of his enemy who killed his parents, but what can I do? It happened. I don't even have a fucking idea how did it happen."

Ivan didn't speak for a while and just continue walking. He open the door of his office and they both entered. So, Jaime couldn't remember the person he slept with but assume that he marked Ziana. The question is, how the hell that Ziana involved in the situation?

"How certain are you that you marked her?"

"She was inside my room when I woke up. She keeps touching her nape, and when I look at the bed, I saw blood. I was in rut, and the Omega is inside my room when I woke up, do you think I'm stupid for not knowing the situation?" Jaime dropped his whole body to the couch.

Ivan also takes his seat and picked up the pen. He plays it and started tapping the book with it. He knows that Daveryl ran away after the bloody mating. But how the hell that, that woman entered Jaime's room? He is certain that Daveryl locked the door after leaving because his guardian is still inside. So how?!

"I don't know, honestly. We both dominant alphas and I also forget everything that happened during my rut, but I'm not stupid as you to assume that I marked someone just because I saw her inside my room. And take note, she doesn't even laying besides you. If I'm in your position, I'll investigate this serious matter more." Ivan said.

Jaime flinched and suddenly sat straight. He glares at Ivan who is now having his head lowered and started scribbling on his notes. He blinked several times and also touches his pheromone gland. Weird, it's not aching anymore.

"By the way, why are you here?" Ivan speaks again.

"Oh..! I just asked my personal doctor to do a check on my pheromone gland. It was burning hot and the pain is likely killing me since last night. But, it suddenly stopped."

"Suddenly stopped?" Ivan tilted his head with serious expression on his face.

"Yeah, it stopped just now. I feel relaxed all of a sudden."

Ivan pause and think. Was it because, the differentiation is over? So, the alpha who marked a beta will also feel the pain that the beta is experiencing? That's a new discovery for him. The two connected individuals will split the burden of differentiation.

Ivan smile and nodded his head. "I see.. So that's how it is."

Meanwhile, inside Daveryl's room.

The tired body of the boy who just finished his bloddy and painful differentiation, is now resting on his bed. Jobel is sitting at the edge of the bed while holding Daveryl's hands.

The pheromones inside the room is settled down. That's why he can now get closer to Daveryl.

"Should I call the doctor?" Jobel asked the newly differentiated Omega in front of him.

"No, let's just wait for Ivan to come back."

Daveryl is deadly tired. Honestly, during the last process of differentiation, he smelled the manly scent from his Alpha. Maybe, that was also the reason why he finished immediately. Jaime's pheromones helped his own pheromones to be calm. It feels like, it comforted it.

If he happened to have his alpha by his side during the process, he might not have had a hard time. It's sad and painful, because the person who should be with him, is focused on others.

"If you say so. How's your feelings now?"

"It's good. But I want to rest. Could you please buy me some soup or even porridge outside? I'm hungry."

Jobel smile and rubs the back of Daveryl's hand. "Sure. Wait for me here.

He stood up and ready to leave. But before that, he once again glance the boy before he continues to leave. Soon, if God's permits him, he will replace the mark with his. And he will take Daveryl as his own.

Meanwhile, Jaime, who was walking, saw Jobel leaving the room. Wondering who is inside, and a thought of Ziana might be inside, should he take a look? It's not a bad idea to check, right? Ziana is his Omega.

He stepped closer to the door and slightly turned the lock. He was about to take a look when suddenly a hand grabbed his arm.

"Jaime! What are you doing? That's Jobel's friend's room, why did you open it?" It's Ivan's voice. He looks so worried and was in a hurry.

He frowned at the visible reaction of his doctor friend. It is too obvious that it shows concern and care for the patient inside. As if he didn't want him to see who was inside. He became more and more interested to know. He turned to look again but Ivan suddenly pulled him.

"Stop! Let's go, I'll send you to your driver. That's a private room, you idiot!" He looks so anxious.

But Jaime's attention was not focused there. Instead, he focused on the feeling that was pushing him to enter. He looked again at the door which was open and was now slowly closing. The person inside may have closed it, but, Ivan said the person inside the room was a patient. So, why can it stand and walk?

"Who is in there?" His curiosity is killing him secretly.

"I told you, it's Mr. Lopez friend. You always ignored everything that is not involving you, so why do you feel like wanting to know that person inside?" Ivan asked with the coldness of his tone.

That was dangerous back there. Jaime almost see Daveryl if he was a bit more late. Huh! He should transfer him to another room. He knows Jaime, he will not stop until he get what he wants.
