Hardship

"If you behave generously, be a decent girl, God will be pleasured with you and deliver a gorgeous prince charming to safeguard you."

"Truly? Then I will be mommy's good girl."

I wish I could desire like that small girl, not because I don't obey my mother, well I obey her more than enough. I'm not a bad person either, I can't even raise my voice at a stray cat.

The fact that I can't dream of a prince charming. I'm a guy. Can I dream of a princess charming? Nay! Without protection or help, she may create great obstacles.

"Here is your pay." The middle-aged woman placed a stamp on the table.

"Your daughter is a fast learner. I would like to teach her again."

"Sure. I will contact you." She gave a genuine smile expressing she's not gonna contact me ever again.

I took leave and threw a few glances at the silly girl who was reading fairy tales with her new tutor.

It was my 5th and last job which I had lost till now.

Over the past few months, I had lost jobs sequence before I could even cope up with the previous loss. That was just like Brazil getting 7 goals against German before realizing it.

Jobs I tried and failed ~

*Assistant of a bulky Manager :

That giant guy ordered me a lot. I had to go market a lot for buying foods for that pig. Cleaning his stuff etc...etc. It was tiresome, but profitable not the pay, of course, I could cutpurse his money while shopping, he didn't care for cost, calculations.

I was saving a lot and my days were good. However, it lasted only 20 days. He fired me for a hot assistant.

*Taking Care of a Millionaire's Dogs :

This job made me a question about my existence as homo sapiens. The dogs luxurious lives pinched me top to toe. I was hired to take care of the dogs albeit I felt myself a dog of those dogs. Still, it was better than starving.

It only lasted 16 days. I was fired after hurting a dog. Actually, I was trying to protect myself when a rottweiler trying to bite me.

*Working in a Coffee Shop :

It was an average job. Too much tiresome yet reliable. I took this job seriously. However, it lasted one and a half months. This shop was near to all-boys' schools. The shop owner fired me to hire a pretty girl to attract high school boys.

*Housekeeper of a Novelist :

A mad man, without family, it was a complete mess. His rooms were like shit garbage.

I can't forget the day; I went to his house hurriedly without taking breakfast. He told me to clean his washroom. I went inside and fainted. In a few seconds, the vulgar smell took control of my empty stomach. I couldn't eat anything that day.

The pay was good. However, it only lasted 10 days. He fired me for a young housekeeper.

Then I started teaching a little girl. It only lasted one month. I gripped the pay, took a deep breath, left the girl's house with a new mission to find a new job. Urgh~ Why getting job's so hard?

"Get a sugar daddy."

My friend showed me an app. "This old man ready to pay USD 500 for a week just to spend time with him. Gender doesn't matter. That's it. Contact him, Yip."

I didn't want to contact him but when I saw my wallet, conscience provoked me.
