WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME

Tara was driving like mad person, breaking the traffic rules speeding the car beyond its speed limit, she was beyond control. Sarthaki was following her in his own car, he sighed loudly.

"Mam...if you can't handle everything alone why are you even trying to do it..." Sarthaki mumbled.

Tara reached the hospital in mere ten minutes she walked towards Polen's room. Sarthaki's whole body was spinning, he was feeling like throwing up his whole mind was blank he can't believe himself that he covered the route of half an hour in mere ten minutes...he was sure now that she was not human.

Tara walked towards Polen's room but Mr.Ray stopped her middle way.

"What did your grandpa said to you?" Mr.Ray asked in a concerned tone.

"Nothing...just some business talks... don't worry dad I have sorted out everything" Tara lied meticulously in front of her father.

"Just don't take any decision by your own...okay?" Mr.Ray said and patted her shoulder softly.

"I know dad..." Tara nodded and left the place.

She entered Polen's room, everyone was beaming with happiness, Sid and Kian were talking with Polen so happily. Tara stared at them for a long time until Sid called her name.

"Hey...Tara what are you doing there? Come here" Sid waved his hands.

"Oh!...yes yes...I was just thinking about something" Tara said and walked towards their direction.

"Tara you know your grandfather agreed on our marriage proposal...I am so happy" Polen said with a dazzling smile on her face.

Tara just nodded, no one knew that how much cost she have to pay for their happiness.

"Yeah Tara I can't believe it....you know I was so shocked when I heard his decision... I was totally numb" Sid said and a rare smile graced his face.

"I know bro..." Tara too smiled a little.

In this harmonious environment one person was totally silent...that person was Kian, he was staring at Tara with his whole concentration, her eyes were again clouded with mystery and he can't solve any of them.After chatting with her brother for some more time she excused herself. Kian also decided to follow her.

Tara came out of the room with a heavy heart she doesn't even looked at Kian for a single second, she can't gather enough courage to face him. She walked aimlessly out of the hospital when someone grabbed her hands and pulled her backward. She landed on a warm embrace, an embrace she knew very well. She was at loss of words she doesn't really knew what to talk and moreover how to talk with him. She clutched his shirt tightly and hugged him like this was their last hug. Kian was a bit startled, firstly he can't understand her behavior and now she was hugging him like it was the end of the world.

"Tara...you are okay right?" Kian said while patting her back softly.

"Maybe... I don't know" Tara said in a low voice.

"Tara don't take any tension... everything is okay now...Polen is okay and your grandfather also agreed to accept them...then what is stressing you so much babes " Kian said softly.

"Nothing.... I am okay...I am fine" Tara said and wriggled out of his embrace.

She then touched his face fondly and said

"Let's go on a date...today".

Kian was again shocked he just can't figure out what was going in her mind.

"Tara...today is not an ideal day to go on our first date ....Polen is still in the hospital and it won't look good if we go on a date now" Kian said in a gentle tone.

"We don't have so much time..." Tara mumbled softly.

"What...did you just said something Tara" Kian asked in a curious tone.

"Nothing...Polen is recovering well now... please let's go... please Kian" Tara said with pleading eyes. This was her last chance to say him her heart wish and confess to him because after tomorrow everything will change forever.

"Tara...you are so stubborn sometimes but if you want it then let's do it" Kian said and kissed her forehead softly.

"Thank you...then let's meet at 5pm....sharp 5" Tara said and smiled fondly.
