Mike was concerned about carters behavior so he asked

" Whats wrong with you?"

" nothing" he replied rudely

" Carter come on for God sake, share it with me. I might help you in some way."

Carter poured a drink in another glass and gave it to Mike and said

" come drink with me, I don't remember when we drank together."

" ok , I will drink with you but you got to tell me what you are going through, why are you punishing yourself like this."

" I am not punishing myself."

" really then what?" Mike asked

" I...I don't know."

" you don't know, how could that be possible Carter?"

" I don't know ok ... I...something happens to me when I see her with someone else. it feels like, I should snatch her away from that bastard's arms. I just hate myself more. whenever I close my eyes I just see her face, her smile, the way she behave with other man around her, its just drives me crazy ."
