Rumour

Amy went straight to her desk. She was in her own happy world. She was smiling on her own and started her work. But then she got a call from her senior manager Sandra.

Sandra " can you please explain me what is going on?"

Amy was rendered speechless. She didn't understand what is her senior was asking.

"Pardon, but I don't understand."

Sandra " Amy I had a great expectations on you. Really I didn't expect you to be like this. "

Amy was stunned. "What's the matter. "

Then Sandra show her the the posts on Facebook. There were some pictures of her entering in Luke's car, and the. morning pictures of her hugging Luke. In this pictures Luke's face was not visible but Amy's face was clear.

There were various comments.

"It's the new joinee. I thought she was innocent girl. But actually she is ...."

"She just joined the company not long. but how can she got a suger daddy so fast. Really she has talent. Ha ha ha ."

"Did you noticed she is wearing the same cloth from yesterday. That mean she already spent the night with the man."

"Do you think the man is from our company? She is really something."

"This type of girls should not stay in our company. She will spoil the atmosphere here."

After reading the comments Amy's eyes blurred. Tears spiled from her eyes. Then she asked her senior "Sandra mam, please give me some time. I will clarify everything. And I will not allow anyone to interfere in my personal affairs. I promise you that I will not disappoint you." Saying she got out of the office room. She went straight to bathroom.

Her phone ringed. It was Luke. Actually he send her message but she didn't reply. He was worried for her. He tried her number but it was unreachable. So he was worried if something happened to her.

Amy picked up the phone but couldn't say anything.

"Am dear where are you? Are you alright? Why didn't you reply my messages? Are you busy? Am dear please say something for God sake ."

Amy could not uttered a word. At that moment after hearing Luke's concern voice she couldn't stop her tears. All could be heard was her sob.

Luke heard her sob. He was really heartbroken. "Who made you cry? Did you boss yell at you"

"Lu...wuuuu wuuuu wuuuu" Amy burst in tears. She couldn't not controlled anymore. It was first time she heard so many people badmouthing her.

Luke was so worried for her. He was in pain. He press his hand on his heart. He could feel her pain. He said "Honey please tell me what happened. please stop crying. It pains me. Please stop. I can't take it anymore. Just tell me who made you cry. I will handle everything. Just tell me. please stop crying dear. "

Hearing Luke's concern and assuring words Amy tried to stop. The she told him, " Someone took pictures of us and post it in company's Facebook page. Lu they are saying I am a bad girl. Lu my senior called me this morning and then I got to know this. Lu I don't know what to do." Amy said those words in her sob. Luke patiently listened everything. But his eyes becomes cold and furious. He could never let anyone hurt his Amy.

"Am first stop crying. promise me that you will not cry anymore."

"Ok Lu. I will not cry."

"Now go to the wash your face and freshen up."

Amy then wash her face. Her eyes were red and puffed. Her face was also red due to long crying session. She felt a little headech after crying for so long.

"Now go to your desk. Drink some water. And just concentrate on your work. Leave this matter to me." He is not going to let go of anyone who hurt his girl.

Amy listened his words. She come down. But couldn't concentrate on her work. Still she tried.

After half an hour later she got a call from her senior, " Amy I think it was a mistake. Someone was trying to make you embarrassed. But now everything is cleared. So cheer up. Don't mess up again. "

Amy could not understand what in the world happened. But then she thought if this anything to do with Luke . She immediately called Luke "it's you who cleared everything right?"

"You don't have to think about it. Just be happy. I will protect you. Nobody can bully you. Just rely on me." Luke said smiling.

"But please at least tell me how you did this?"

"I will tell you. but not now. "

"ok then take care I am fine now."

" ok take care."

"Lu .... thank you..." Amy said.

"It's not something I want to hear." Luke said pretending to be upset.

" Hi hi hi okk then I love you Luke."

"Love you too." Luke smiled ear to ear.
