#Chapter54
/"She didn't eat it?/" I asked Kanwal looking at the untouched breakfast as she walked out from Noor's room.
/"No./"
/"Where is she now?/"
/"Inside./"
/"Hmm... I want to talk to her alone./" As I told her, she gave me a pleading look.
/"I won't do anything. Just talk./" She nodded and left.
After knocking on the door I stepped inside and found her leaning against the window, wearing a lemon yellow coloured dress with her head covered with her dupatta. Looks so innocent and pure, just like Noor (soft gentle light).
/"Why didn't you eat?/" Upon hearing my voice, she steadied herself.
/"...I am not hungry./"
/"You do remember that your family still lives in this town, right?/" I asked, covering the distance between us.
/"What did you do to them?/" She asked, wide-eyed.
/"Nothing.... for now./" I answered looking out the window.
