Except; "...there is nothing we can do. The punishment for his crime is obvious," Brenda stated, looking at where Louise was standing, with a handcuff around his hand. Sonya's expression was blank with no emotions on her face. She didn't want to look at Louise, because it would only make it hard for her. "Death or life imprisonment."  Thomas at first was helping them because he wanted to win Brenda's heart, but after what Brenda told him about his mother, he changed his mind.

He wasn't fond of Lowell, and hearing of the things he did and how he dragged his mother into it, he became furious and decided to join hands with Sonya.

"If you have someone who is willing to sell information, you should let me meet the person. We can dig up enough dirt if we get relevant information," Johann reasoned. He stared at Sonya's side profile and watched her as she looked ahead with a pensive expression.

Sonya's feet halted and she turned to face Johann. Her gray eyes stared into his own and she said, "I appreciate your help, Johann. Thanks a lot. I will have my assistant schedule a meeting with Thomas tomorrow."

Johann nodded, and Sonya smiled at him before stepping into her room.
