The next day, Louise arrived at the school because Mrs Ford had invited him to meet and speak with Sonya about Sianna. When he entered the school, he was directed to Mrs Ford's office by a member of staff.
"Good afternoon, Mr Cole," Mrs Ford said as soon as she saw Louise.
"Good afternoon, ma'am, you are looking radiant," Louise praised the woman, smiling.
Mrs Ford nearly blushed at the man's gentlemanliness. "Thank you,. Please sit," she replied, smiling. "Please get Sonya," she told the staff at the door. After she left, Mrs. Ford took her seat and said,
"She just arrived and went straight to see Sianna, because it is lunch break."
"Okay," Louise nodded.
A few minutes later, Sonya walked into the office, and Mrs Ford exclaimed, "Here she is!"
Sonya smiled sweetly and shifted her gaze to the man who was Sianna's father, but the moment she saw him, the world around her froze and her eyes widened like saucers. Her heart raced and her breath became caught in her throat.
His blue eyes were staring back at her; he looked familiar but different from the person she knew. His aura, his features. Sonya became dizzy and nearly fainted; fortunately, Louise's reflexes were excellent, and he caught her before she fell.
"Sonya! Are you okay? "What is wrong?" Mrs Ford screamed in fear as she grabbed Sonya's hands.
Louise was also perplexed by the woman's reaction after seeing him. He had previously felt very familiar with the woman and was trying to recall where he had seen her, but then he noticed her stare at him as if he were a ghost or something.
He stared at the woman as she slowly composed herself and leave his embrace, but her expression was still one of panic, surprise, and other emotions he could not understand.
"You look like you saw a ghost," Louise joked.
"Does he look like a ghost?" Mrs Ford inquired, perplexed as well.
When Louise gave the woman a look, she cleared her throat and laughed dryly " that's not what I meant."
Sonya took a while to calm down. when she did, she bowed her head slightly and apologized, "I am sorry for my behavior; it was a..uhm a.."
"It is fine," Louise cut her off. For some unknown reason, he could not bring himself to scold or get angry at her. He couldn't also control the burst of feelings flooding in his heart.
"Are you alright, Sonya? Do you want to reschedule our meeting?" Mrs. Ford inquired.
"No," Sonya replied, shaking her head. She sat beside Louise after taking a deep breath.
Mrs Ford gave her a few more glances before taking her own seat.
"Allow me to make a formal introduction then. This is Louise Cole, Sianna's father and the owner of LOUISA CORPORATIONS," Mrs Ford pointed to Louise. "And this is Sonya Aquila, the heir to the Pearl's hospitals and an ace in psychology."
Louise waved at Sonya, who responded with a simple nod.
Sonya noticed Mrs Ford wink at her, as a gesture that she speak up.She picked up the file she had brought earlier and handed it to Louise.
"That is an analysis of your daughter's reports; I met her yesterday and she is a lovely child. She enjoys the arts, and I believe I have a better way to assist her if you want me to. I know she has a doctor; I can speak with him or her, whoever it is, and we can work together to help her."Sonya said everything calmly and clearly.
Louise reviewed the report before placing it back on the table. "Why do you want to assist Sianna?" He asked. Since last night, the question has been bothering him. "There are so many kids here, why did you pick Sianna?"
"I love and adore your daughter, Mr Cole. She reminds me of my younger self; I did not have autism, but I felt alone and depressed. I could not explain the emotion I felt when I saw her for the first time and spoke with her. That is why I want to help her."
"Were you a mother who lost her child?" Louise asked out of the blue.
Sonya and Mrs Ford both froze. Louise realized what he said and quickly apologized. "That did not come out correctly. I apologize; I meant to ask if you had married."
"Would you like to marry me?" Sonya retorted, glaring slightly.
Louise, huh...???
Mrs. Ford...???
Mrs Ford looked at Sonya with surprise and frowned at her sudden annoyance. She even cast a subtle glance at Louise after his ambiguous statement.
"Sorry about that, I will contact Sianna's doctor and you two can discuss it," Louise smiled tightly.
Sonya looked away and said, "Okay."
Louise excused himself and walked away.
Mrs Ford approached Sonya after he had left and asked why she had reacted the way she did.Sonya brushed it off and left after seeing Sianna.
She was not at ease. It was clear from the way she walked briskly to the parking lot, where she parked her car.
However, her steps slowed when she noticed Louise standing between a red sports car and her car, lost in thought.
'Did he remember anything?' she frowned. When she got closer, she looked ahead and walked towards her car, getting into it and driving away without looking back.
Louise stood there, and his gaze followed her car until it disappeared. His heart tightened and he got a headache. A memory was attempting to surface, but it was giving him a migraine.
He opened the car and looked for his medicine. He swallowed them quickly and drank some water. After a few minutes, he felt relieved and sat in his car, waiting for Sianna.
Sonya drove down to the river in the countryside, the cold breeze moved around her creating goosebumps on her skin.
Her eyes welled up with tears as she stood there staring at the flowing water. Memories flooded her mind, threatening to burst through it.
She cried out as she placed her hand on the left side of her chest. She felt hurt, and the hurt and anger suffocated her.
"He really forgot me, he..he.." she shuddered and cried out louder.
"L.o.u.i.s.e you bastard, cheating bastard, you really forgot about me," she yelled, clutching her hair. "You made me fall for you, and then you abandoned me. Why?" She knelt on the sand and sniffed.
Her eyes glazed over as she remembered a time at school when they were together.

Sonya was riding a swing in the park. It was a bright day with no clouds in the sky. The smell of food and different perfumes was in the air and the noisy place made it difficult for someone to hear anything clearly.
The park was bustling with people moving around with their families and friends.
Sonya's eyes were roaming crowd, hoping to find someone, when her eyes were suddenly closed by a pair of big hands.
She panicked at first, but when the person's perfume wafted into her nostrils, she giggled and said, "You can not fool me, Mr. Let go of me, Louise."
"How did you realize it was me?" Louise grumbled, annoyed that he was so easily recognized.
"I know your smell very well," Sonya replied, lightly hitting his arm and giving him the 'you can not fool me' look.
"Hmm, so you know what I smell like, which means you have been observing me for a while and pretending you do not like me, huh?" he teased.
Sonya blushed and said, "I just got used to your scent."
"Do not be shy; you are free to observe me," he said as he went to sit beside her. "It will come in handy when we get married."
"Who wants to marry you?" Sonya asked, rolling her eyes.
"If you do not want to marry me, that is fine; we can just be like this for the rest of our lives, because I will never let you go," Louise said seriously.
Sonya blushed at his declaration of love, but it brought a comforting feeling to her heart. Louise slowly raised her head to look at him. His blue eyes locked on her gray orbs, and he promised never to let her go. He lowered his head and gave her a soft kiss.

"Everything was a lie," Sonya sniffed. "But, since you forgot me first, I do not see why I should remember you anymore."
Her heart was unwavering. She was going to forget him and erase him from her memory.
Her only issue was Sianna; she should have thoroughly investigated her background before offering to treat her.
Mrs Ford had called the name on the first day, but she did not pay attention because she was so preoccupied with the child.
She wondered about the child's mother. Mrs Ford claimed her mother died during childbirth, but she questioned whether this was even true.
According to her knowledge of Louise, the man knows how to flirt with and win over women, and when he is finished with them, he abandons them. She had also become a victim, and she was confident Sianna's mother was the same.
'He is the worst of his kind,' she cursed inside her heart.
