You and Me.

Levi is a hitman, an assassin really. And a rich one for that matter. He is cold, calculating, blunt and detached from society. Simone on the other hand is a 22 year old orphaned collage dropout who has four siblings to fend for. They meet in an unlikely manner at the city market after Levi completes one of his jobs and in an unlikely turn of events, he ends up needing her help, he doesn't want it though, he just happens to be inconvenienced. They find themselves in an interesting situation, however, living as some sort of dysfunctional family. It's not an ideal scene for any of them, but something intangible prompts Levi to stay.

It had been two weeks since I'd seen Simone and her sisters and I missed them so bad it hurt. I had been texting her sisters regularly but I hadn't spoken to Simone herself. I had no idea what to say and I knew she didn't know what to say either. I missed her the most. And it was hard getting used to my huge quiet house without anybody home.

I don't know why I didn't kiss her. My brain was yelling it at me the whole time to do it, but I didn't and I heavily regretted it. I knew for a fact that I wanted Simone with every fibre of my being basically but it was still messed up at the moment. It was for the best probably anyway.

I had practically gotten used to getting jumped at by Lila that sometimes I fully expected her to leap at me from nowhere. I missed pranking Raven and Mica with Coco. I missed gossiping with Raven about her school people and doing homework with all of them at the table. God I wanted to be with that family again.
