Chapter 30

Yuna's POV

We are on the way to her house and she is still holding my hand as we walk together.

I feel my face is still so red because of what happened earlier... I feel my head is burning while remembering it. I hope she won't notice.

When we get to their gate her guards are already waiting outside for her. Mr. Seiji is standing in front of them.

They all bow towards her.

"Welcome home Lady Lure."

After bowing to Lure, Mr. Seiji throws a sharp glare on me.

He notices our hands are linked together. He took out his gun and loaded it while intensely looking at me.

He makes me shivered with his stares.

I instinctively let go of her hand and for some reason it makes me feel a bit sad.

"Yuna, thank you for today.", Lure said with a light smile on her face.

"That's nothing...I don't think you have to thank me at all. I should be the one to be thankful because you bear with my incompetency." I said cackling while scratching the back of my head with my right hand.

What I did for her actually was a big failure and it's unbelievable when it comes to her even just a little act of affection from me means a lot. She appreciates it even it's the worst kind of date for a person like her. Is it really because she really loves me so much or is it because of her too much kindness? But no matter what, I know this personality of her makes me like her more and more...

She throws her self again on me to embrace me tightly.

"Please be careful as you go home..." She whispered softly in my ear.

Her guards are all flabbergasted and their faces turn red like mine as they look at us.

Mr. Seiji's face turns darker. He aims his gun at me. I immediately put both of my hands on Lure's shoulders and push her to make space between us.

(Sigh...)

You being close to me will put my life in more danger...

***Days after

All students gather in the hallway. The results of the last test are now being posted. Students nervously waiting.

Me, Mikan, Chio, and Romina are on the front row looking at the big board.

I don't expect much on mine but I just pray I at least pass...

It will be big trouble for a commoner like me in an exclusive like this if I fail. My scholarship will be at risk. I wanna cry right now just by thinking it.

Uh! Wow, amazing! Lure is the top 1. She got a perfect score on all of the tests. Everyone is talking about her now.

"She is really so smart."

"She is the top 1 again."

"Yeah, she did it again. Impressive."

Hearing their praises makes me feel proud as her girlfriend. She is definitely an amazing person.

Even she is busy helping in our training as a manager, she is still able to keep her high grades.

Uh!? Akira also remains in the top two. I knew it. He is always amazing.

Wahhh! I also saw Mikan's name now. She is still able to get in the top twenty even though she looks so bad that day. I'm so happy for her.

"Mikan you are really amazing," I said to her with a big smile on my face.

"It's nothing. I can be on top five if only I was in a good condition that day..."

She said with her head held high.

I actually want to ask her why she looks so exhausted recently.

"Have you found your name Yuna?" Chio asked looking around the board to help me.

"Not yet Chio..."

"#135, #167...ahhh! I found my name..."

My face turns dark and my shoulders fall...

Even I pushed myself to study hard I still fail...

A moment later...

I bury my face in the table.

"Yuna, please cheer up. It will be alright..."

So easy to say...I can be kicked out of our school.

I lift my head slowly to look at them.

"What should I do now..." Tears are welling up from my eyes.

"Sniff...sniff...by the way where is Mikan?"

"I heard the School director call her. It's probably about student council duties." Romina answered.

***Director's Office

Mikan's POV

"Sorry to call you in here all of a sudden. As the President of the student council, I want to entrust you with a special task."

The Director talked to me with a very serious face.

"Special task Director?"

I wonder what he means by it.

"There will be two new students transferring to our school next week. They are both high-profile students so I want to entrust them to you. I know you will be able to take care of them."

Two new students? I wonder what kind of people are they? Our school is almost full of high-profile students so I wonder why the school director still looks so worried about having two new high-profile students.

The director opens his drawer beside him and took out a blue folder. He handed it over to me.

"That folder contained information about them. Read it so that you won't be so surprised once you meet them."

"Why would I be surprised, Director? We have high-profile students here already."

He only looks at me with a half-smile.

I open the folder to better understand what the director is saying.

A teen idol and martial art superstar...Ayaka Fujiwara and David Akemiya.

"I see...You don't have to worry. I will make sure to look out for them."

I said bowing towards him.

"I know I can trust this matter to you." He said with relief.

"I have to go now, Director. I'll look into their information later. Thank you for trusting me."

I turn around and leave.

I hope these two new transfers will not be a pain in my head. I already have enough headaches at home.
