What Happened To Amari ( Flashback pt 1)

Two years ago after the Employee and Shareholders ball, two cars pull into Amari's parents yard. One car is a Lexus SUV, black in color which is Amari's car and the other is a KIA K900 which is Mrs. Kim's car.

Mrs. Kim drove Amari's car while driving her home while Mr. Kim followed behind in Mrs. Kim's car to pick his wife up.

Before the ladies exited the car Amari was bawling in tears. She had been crying since they left the venue of the ball. Mrs. Kim at every stop light and stop sign would hold her to try to console her, but Amari wouldn't and couldn't stop.

Her heart had shattered into tiny pieces of glitter and she couldn't pick them up. Memories of her love for Dontae played through her head. She wanted to erase every memory and wished she had no memory of their so called love so that she wouldn't be in any pain.

Her heart hurt so much that words slipped through her snot and teared lips. " Why did he not look? Why didnt he turn on the lights? Why is this b**ch in our lives?" She had never cursed in front of Mrs. Kim before. Mrs. Kim was shocked but understood her distress.

Mrs. Kim wiped her face with a handkerchief and answered with a soft, gentle and soothing voice " I asked around and Inu's secretary told me that Inu told her that you wanted to meet him upstairs. So he didn't know. He didn't turn on the lights, he told his father, because her hand motioned his hand away from the switch. And Inu is being transferred to Japan. Dontae loves you with all his heart. If he'd known it was Inu, he would've walked out of there immediately and requested for her termination. He was being cautious of her since she kissed him. He didn't want to hurt you again." At that moment she started to tear up herself.

" My heart can't take anymore pain. I feel like I'm dying. I can't breathe. I can't see. I can't move. I want to die."

" Let me walk you to the door. I'm sure your mom will help ease some of this pain."

" No one can ease this death. Death can not be eased. I can't go on. Please Lord, help me. I don't know how to handle this death of my heart. I don't know how to bring it back to life." She sobbed.

Mrs. Kim texted Mr. Kim to help her take Amari into the house. She also texted Amari's mom and let her know what happened and what was going on with her.

Mr. and Mrs. Valdespee met the couple and Amari at the front door. Upon seeing her mother Amari collapsed into her arms. She fainted. They rushed her to the emergency room.

Dr. Zhao, one of Amari's colleagues rushed her into a room where he ran test on her. They found out that she had a heart attack and that she was two months pregnant with three babies. Two identical and one fraternal. The parents were sad and worried about the heart attack, but they were shocked and happy about the pregnancy.

All four grandparents were there to hear the news except one important person who didn't know what was going on at the moment.

They wondered should they tell him about Amari's hospitalization and the babies or should they just let it be for the moment?

They decided not to stress Amari anymore that she is and let her rest.
