When I saw my mother arriving, I closed the phone and placed it on my side. She had a plate and a glass of water in her hands when she presented it to me, which I accepted. She insisted that I take the pills, which I did.
I thanked mom and returned the glass after taking the prescription. The door burst open, allowing us to see who had entered. Mom greeted him since she recognized him despite the fact that he had only seen him a few times.
"Can I come in?" Kib asked as he kept opening the door. My mother nodded and motioned him to sit on the sofa, which he did.
I checked the time and it was 7:20 p.m., so I wasn't sure why he was here. He gave me a small smile as he gazed at me. He was dressed in a white sweatshirt and black jeans that he looked great in it.
