6 《Love letters》

It was break time, and Vyrie and I were sitting at our favorite spot on campus. She often teases me about Renz since she observes how much we chat. She's always been like this. "We're not that close, and I don't like him; he always irritated me, so stop thinking about it," I stated. "All ok, relax haha, peace." She responded with a peace sign in her hand. "Oh, K-Kib... what are you doing here?" Vyrie said, prompting me to turn behind him.

"Hi Maxx and Vyrie, right?" kib said as the two conversed, and Vyrie and Maxx nodded.

"What is it?" I inquired.

"Ahm Vyrie, may I borrow your friend for a while?" we both pondered as we looked at what Kib stated.

"Ha? eh? S-Suree," says the narrator. I was motioned to follow Kib. Despite my confusion, I continued to follow him.

"Where are we going?" I said, confused as to why we were here in the parking lot.

"Get in," Kib said, motioning me to his car. "Just get in, we're running out of time." I'm still stunned, and I didn't have an option but to get into his car. I don't think anything horrible will happen because he doesn't appear to be a bad guy. Kib got in his car and started it. No one talked to any of us, and the stillness that surrounded us seemed to deafen me. After a few minutes, the car abruptly came to a halt, and I glanced about for it...

As we entered the mall, I wondered, "What are we going to do here?" He answered, "Just follow me." They walked into a bookshop. He takes out a pen and begins picking. "Are you serious? You brought me here to purchase a pen?" As I watched him select a pen, I became irritated. "So what," he responded, still picking up a pen.

"S-so what?! is this a joke to you? if you don't have a pen, you can borrow from me or anybody," I reply, trying to hide my displeasure.

"I don't use a cheap pen," he added, infuriating me even more.

"How much?" he inquired of the cashier as he headed the counter to pay. "370 pesos, sir," he said as he paid for it and looked around for Maxx, who was no longer in the store. "Where is she?" Kib glanced around the store again, but Maxx was nowhere to be seen. He reasoned that she could already be in the car. He was ready to open the door and go when...

"Shit!" he exclaimed, shocked to find me standing on the side with my arm crossed and a scowl on my face. He was shocked and said, "Why are you there?"

"So what?" Maxx said as he moved away from Kib. Because no one had spoken to them previously, the car stayed silent until they arrived at their school. in the vicinity of the school, He answered, "I have things to do." I walked into the school after closing the car's door. Two women stopped me as I was about to enter the class A building.

I apologized honestly, "I need to get to class, I'm late."

"Can you please give that to Ryle, Maxx?" she said, referring to the piece of paper he was clutching. It seems to be love letters for Ryle once more.

"Please give this to Renz," said the second woman, handing me a piece of paper that appeared to be love notes.

"I'm sorry girls, but I won't be able to do that since I'm running late for class," I said.

"Maxx, please, we implore you"

"Maxx, we are unable to enter since we are not from a class A building"

"Maxx..."

"All right, all right, give it to me," I said, knowing they wouldn't stop.

"Thank you, Maxx," she replied as she grabbed the paper they were holding and bid them farewell. Maxx walked up to her class, apprehensive since she noticed his teacher was already there. She stepped inside after carefully opening the door. She shut the door behind her and then...

"Ms. Valiente!"

Damn it,

She was scared of his teacher's voice, so she said, "Sir ahm..."

"Why are you late?" "Didn't I mention that all of the pupils must have entered the room before I entered this class?" the teacher said.

My teacher asked, "What are you holding?"

"Y-yes sir.. ahm because... I'm truly sorry sir," I said.

He was referring to the piece of paper given to her by the two women. As a result, Maxx quickly concealed it behind her.

"N-nothing, sir," her teacher said as he reached her.

"Give it to me," Maxx said, but her teacher took care of it on his own. And I started with the first paper.

"Dear, Ryle sevellio, I've desired you since I transferred to this school, and even though I know a lot of people like you, I hope you'll notice me once—" The teacher read what was written in front of the students, and the students began to laugh out loud. In tremendous shame, I nodded.

When I looked at Ryle, he seemed to be embarrassed as well. I want to get out of here, but I'm too embarrassed to move.

"Hello, Renz, I know you're new to this school, but even though you're impolite at times, it's okay because you're still cute—" The teacher was already reading the second paper, and I was even more humiliated. The students are laughing once more.

"So you're late because you wrote this pointless letter?" her teacher snarled.

"N-no si—" I'm sorry, I didn't complete what I was about to say.

"She was late because she accompanied me," Maxx said, looking across at Kib.

Kib took a position in the doorway. I was surprised; I assumed he was on his way someplace, but why was he already here?

"Mr. Alfonso!" exclaimed the teacher.

"I'm new here, so Maxx followed me to make sure I didn't get lost," he explained.

"How can I accept what you said?" the teacher inquired. "Why did anyone see you together?"

Everyone looked to Renz as he got up and spoke, saying, "Me. I saw them together."

"Maxx and I were also together earlier when Kib approached us," Vryie expressed heartfelt gratitude. Then I'm relieved because of what they stated.

"Maxx, I forgot to give it to you. Thanks for earlier," Kib said as he gave me a paper bag stuffed with pens and moved over to his chair.

"T-thankyou"

"You may sit down Maxx next time I don't want anyone to be late for my class," the teacher stated. Maxx walked up to his chair and took a seat. She was grateful since kib came out of nowhere and she appeared to have averted humiliation.

As he glanced at Kib, she smiled.

Maxx sat up and turned to face Renz, who was sitting next to her. She didn't think he'd talk if it weren't for him, and she worried that his teacher wouldn't believe what Kib said if it weren't for him.

"Hey Renz, regarding the letter, I-not it's mine"

"I know," he said, reassured.
