I don't know what's going on right now; hearing what David said made me not believe what he said.

"Vampire?"

That one word made me run out of thoughts to think, How can, in modern life like this, there is still such a thing as a Vampire?

However, after I remembered the incident at Robert's house, I realized that maybe what David said was true.

"You lied, right?" I said disbelievingly at David and shook my head as I paced in front of him.

"How did I lie to you? You should be thanking me for saving your life!" David replied, looking annoyed that I didn't believe him.

"Take me home now!" I said while looking sharply at David.

He heard what I said but suddenly shook his head, saying, "No, you can't go home first. Here is the safest place to save your life!"
