First Day

They arrived at the house that had been provided by Willy's parents, a minimalist house with a modern style painted in white, a small garden and a fish pond to refresh the atmosphere in the yard. Willy came in and was a little surprised when someone greeted him.

"Welcome home, sir!" said the waiter who greeted him. Willy stood awkwardly knowing who had sent the servant.

"Bi Ijah, here?" Willy asked for sure.

"Yes sir, madam told me to work with you," said bi Ijah.

"O ... oh, introduce Bi, this is Ervina, my wife!" Willy stammered as he grabbed Ervina's small waist so that it was close to hers.

"Just pretend to be in front of aunt Ijah, I'm sure if mom Ijah was deliberately sent here to spy on us," Willy whispered in Ervina's ear. The woman then nodded slightly in response.

"Ervina," he said kissing Bi Ijah's hand.

"Oh, Miss, don't be like that! Auntie is just a servant here," said Bi Ijah feeling bad because Ervina, who is the daughter-in-law of the Mahendra family, kissed her hand. Not only did Bi Ijah feel bad for being treated like this from his new miss, Willy was also stunned by how polite Ervina was to Bi Ijah.

"It's just a job, after all, working as a waitress doesn't make Bi Ijah humiliated. Auntie is older than me so I have to respect Auntie," said Ervina, which made Bi Ijah and Willy silent.

"Let Auntie help, Miss, Sir." Bi Ijah then escorted them to the room that Willy and Ervina would occupy.

"Thank you, Miss." Ervina gave a contagious smile to Bi Ijah.

"You're welcome, Miss, if you need anything Miss can call auntie."

Willy has been silent since then and has watched Ervina's attitude, as long as he lives and knows many women, even Zeline, his lover, he has never seen anyone who treats servants as well as Ervina.

"Should we discuss it here?" Ervina asked, confused.

"Come in first!" said Willy who immediately opened the bedroom door and was followed by Ervina.

He saw if there were some things that had not been arranged and were still wrapped, one of which was a photo of him and Ervina's wedding. Willy then glanced at his wife briefly with the corner of his eye.

"You don't have to hang it in your room if you don't want to, and there's no way your parents got in here anyway." Ervina knew what was on her husband's mind.

"Tonight we should sleep in this room, I'll sleep on the sofa."

"Hm, it's up to you." Ervina arranged all the things there without asking permission or waiting for orders from Willy. Indeed he is the type of person who really likes neatness. Willy also didn't care about it, he then went to the bathroom to clean himself leaving Ervina who was still busy with her work.

Fifteen minutes later Willy came out of the bathroom refreshed, he saw that his wife had prepared a change of clothes for him. Even though it's economical to talk, Ervina really pays attention to small things like that. He wore the clothes that Ervina had prepared to appreciate the woman. He didn't see his wife since he finished bathing until Willy went down to the kitchen to ask Bi Ijah to prepare lunch, he saw Ervina struggling with kitchen tools to help Bi Ijah with her work. Willy subconsciously watched every thing Ervina did.

"You take a shower, let this work, Mrs. Ijah finish it," Willy said when the work was almost done. Ervina without much debate obeyed her husband's words and immediately went to the room she had made earlier.

"Sir," Bi Ijah called, making Willy turn his head towards him.

"Yes ma'am, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, Auntie is just happy when she knows your wife is so kind and polite," said Bi Ijah, who was amazed at Ervina.

"Mom, can I ask you something?" Willy asked without responding to bi Ijah's words.

"What is it, sir?"

"Can Bi Ijah go back to mom and dad's house? Let me and my wife spend our time together as newlyweds? I think Auntie knows what I mean," said Willy, who actually felt uncomfortable with Bi Ijah there because he was sure the old woman who is the servant of the Mahendra family would report all his activities and also Ervina to the mother.

"Yes sir, aunty understand."

"Thanks for understanding, ma'am."

Willy waited for Ervina to come down to eat together, he deliberately did this so that Bi Ijah wouldn't be suspicious and talk nonsense to his parents. It didn't take long for his wife to come down, the woman looked fresher after taking a shower. They ate in silence without talking, only the sound of spoons and forks colliding with plates became the melody to accompany their meal.

Night came so fast that Ervina lay down on the sofa even though this afternoon Willy asked her to sleep there alone, but apparently Ervina didn't want to worry about where she should sleep, she was reading her favorite online novel waiting for sleepiness to come. While Willy was on the balcony and was having a video call with Zeline half an hour ago, Ervina could hear the spoiled, sulky and affectionate tone of the couple.

'Oh my god, have I become a destroyer of other people's relationships? Because Willy had to marry me he's made it this far with Zeline. In touch behind the scenes, I'm sorry Willy, Zeline,' Ervina thought to herself.

He then covered his body with the thick maroon blanket up to his chest and tried to close his eyes, but Willy's words disturbed him.

"Don't worry, honey! Ervina is very easy to work with on this. Incidentally, she also has an agenda for the inauguration of her restaurant branch. So we are free to go on vacation together under the pretext that I will be on my honeymoon with Ervina," said Willy, which sounded in his ears. Ervina. He wanted to laugh but he couldn't. Willy entered after finishing the video call with Zeline and approached Ervina who was already asleep on the sofa.

"I'm sorry Ervina, if I have to tarnish this marriage. We both have agreed to live it only in front of our parents, the rest we are strangers who shouldn't interfere in each other's business. I hope you and I don't fall in love with each other. Because I just love Zeline yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever." Willy mumbled when he saw those brown eyes were now closing.

Morning came again bringing new light to the inhabitants of the earth, as well as Willy and Ervina. They were both neat and ready for their respective destinations, Willy with his work responsibilities, as well as Ervina who had to attend the inauguration of his restaurant branch. Since dawn he had woken up and took care of all his and Willy's needs.

Downstairs Ervina was served breakfast made by Bi Ijah, she then looked around to find the whereabouts of the old woman to say that she and Willy were leaving.

"Who are you looking for?" asked Willy who was about to feed him his food.

"Bi Ijah," said Ervina.

"He has returned to Mahendra's residence. I said that if we were going on our honeymoon, Bi Ijah should report it to Mama and Papa so that they would not suspect us." Willy answered Ervina's curiosity while his wife just nodded briefly.
