JACOB got out of the car first and opened the door for his wife. And she was imprisoned in his arms.
"Thank you for saving us all tonight," Angeline heard her husband whisper while burying his face in the thickness of her hair. "Did you never regret marrying me?"
She let go of Jacob's embrace, "what kind of question is that? I didn't marry you to make you my savior," she said, stepping away from her husband. "Then I knew before that I would be your savior," he added with a laugh and stepped away from his wife, who didn't like his joke. He ran fast when he saw Jacob chasing him.
But she was so shocked when he caught up with her running speed. Jacob was in front of her.
"What did you say?" Jacob confronted her, walking towards her.
She laughed, but there was shock on her face, "how did you catch up with my speed?"
He shrugged and held her arm," I just ran after you."
She stared at him for a while though she felt weird about him.
