As the days went by, Yang trained Izuku to become a hero while also training herself to better use the Semblances she currently has. This resulted in many trials and errors such as Nora's High Voltage. Yang deliberately shocked herself which ended up in many failures that did teach her enough to not openly seek it out. She has no idea how Nora used the Semblance as she's finding it hard to control. She'll get it eventually. As the days went by, All Might began helping with training Izuku from here on out considering One for All was All Might's Quirk, it just made sense. It gave her time to train herself and the Semblances she has access to. However, she would have to balance training with her Hero Work which she did during the days that went by. She'd made a name for herself and already has fans. Though, now that she has it, she doesn't like all the attention. She never knew how insufferable it would be. A part of her wondered if this is what being a Professional Huntsmen in peace times was like. She didn't know what fame and glamour was like due to always being involved in the War against Salem. That was also someone she had never thought about in a while. It's been so long since she fell to Salem back on Remnant.
Concerning her ability to use the Semblances of her friends, she didn't expect it at all. At first, she thought it would make her almost unstoppable, but she was wrong. There is an intense learning curve, and she needs to unlock the other Semblances first before learning how to use them. The Weaknesses of each Semblance also carry over. She also can't use two at a time, she can only use one at a time. Sure, she can jump between Semblance's on the fly, but it is straining to do it continuously. She'll work around it eventually. Right now, she was heading towards UA High to meet up with Nezu. She had notified him of her approach moments before. Nezu is among the few that know of her reincarnation, he was the first person she told. Ever since she left to train, she hadn't seen him and just thought of paying him a visit. Just a friendly one. As she made her way to UA High, she noticed someone waiting for her outside of the school at the front gate. She recognized the short figure and quickly addressed them.
Yang: "Hey, Nezu!" she greets, loudly.
Nezu turned to her direction and waved at her. When Yang finally reached him, Nezu had to look up at her due to her being taller.
Nezu: "it's good to see you Yang. Enjoy your training?" he asked.
Yang: "Yep."
Nezu: "I've heard of your heroic escapades these past few days. Gained quite a following in such short time. You must be proud of yourself." he said.
Yang: "not really. It's kind of unbearable. Fame and glory isn't as glamorous as i thought in the past." she said, admitting her fault.
Nezu: "You mean in your past life?" he asks in a hushed voice so no one else would hear.
Yang: "yeah."
Nezu: "Well, let's head inside so we can talk about more... secret matters." he said, hinting at Secret information.
Yang nods silently at him before the two head through the gates of UA. Yang knew what he was hinting at, her reincarnation and possibly All Might's secret. Stuff like this was always hush hush between them. So that way no one figured it out. She considered the concept that in the future she'll have to tell her family about her second chance at life. This is something she's a bit scared to even do. She doesn't know how they'll react. They could react negatively or positively. While she hopes for a positive response, a part of her expects a negative one. She's just so uncertain about the outcome and that's what has her worried. For now, she'll keep it a well-kept secret until she knows the time is right to tell them. She doesn't want to pull an Ozpin. As she walks through UA, she notices how quiet it was.
Yang: "Pretty quiet." she comments.
Nezu: "ah, that's because most of the staff and students are home. School is not in session, not yet at least. So that's why it is rather quiet. Perfect time for our talk to happen." he explains.
Yang really doesn't understand how he can be so enthusiastic. Nezu is definitely different compared to Ozpin. During her training, she remembers being told all about Nezu and his approach to teaching students to become Pro Heroes. This then gets her to start thinking about the others that know of her secret. Gran Torino, All Might, Eraserhead, Nezu and Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. Not a lot of people, but Yang didn't know how many people she could trust with her secret. This new world she found herself in is full of uncertainties. That's why she was cautious with who she entrusted with her secret. By the time they reach Nezu's office, Yang felt a little uneasy and couldn't explain why. Nezu sat down at his desk and Yang sat in front of his desk in one of the chairs.
Nezu: "Is something wrong, Yang?" he asks.
Yang: "I feel uneasy."
Nezu: "there's nothing to be uneasy about. We're the only ones in UA." he said, trying to calm Yang down.
Yang: "Does someone know about my secret? Someone that i don't know of?" she asks.
Nezu: "Not that I'm aware of."
Yang: "I'm just worried my secret will get out." she said.
Nezu: "No need to worry. Just like how One for All is kept secret, your second chance at life is a well-kept secret. There is nothing to worry about Yang." he explained.
Yang: "okay. I guess i was just nervous for no reason." she said, eventually chuckling at herself.
Nezu smiled a little.
Nezu: "So, how has this new world been treating you?" he asks.
Yang: "Good. The past 8 years have been good. Toshinori managed to find his successor." she mentions.
Nezu: "Oh? Who is it?" he asks.
Yang: "Izuku Midoriya." she answered. "My friend."
Nezu: "That must've been hard for you to take in." he comments.
Yang: "Oh I was furious when I found out." she said, sounding a little angry.
Nezu: "Are you furious because All Might didn't tell you, or because your worried about Midoriya?" he asks.
Yang: "of course I'm worried about Izuku. He's my best friend, of course I'm going to worry about him." she answered.
Nezu: "I see. But you did accept this reality, right?" he asks.
Yang: "yes."
Nezu: "Good, wouldn't want any turmoil amongst our ranks now. That wouldn't be good." he said.
The last time there was turmoil amongst friendly ranks, an entire Nation collapsed. The Fall of Atlas is still very vivid in her mind. She remembers how quickly it all happened. They got divided, Salem attacked, and she won. If there was ever a time where Yang felt powerless, it was during those days. Having something like that happen to this world would be terrifying. This world is bigger than Remnant. It even has a larger population. So, the fact of an entire nation falling overnight would be terrifying to anyone.
Nezu: "oh, in case Yagi hasn't said anything to you. He'll be working here as a teacher." he informs.
Yang: "Wait what?" she asks, surprised by this information.
Nezu: "So you didn't know."
Yang: "of course not. Guess Toshi wanted to keep it a secret." she said. "Why bring it up?"
Nezu: "Well since you clearly show worry for Young Midoriya, why not join Toshinori?" he offered.
Yang: "But, I just started being a pro Hero?" she said, confusedly.
Nezu: "You can still act as a Pro; you'll just be helping here and there. Think of it as a side job." he explains.
Yang: "oh okay. I guess i could give it a shot." she said.
Nezu: "Besides, with the experience you had in your former life and the experience you got in this life, you'll be a great help to All Might and the others." he adds. "Just give it some time and think about it."
Yang nods.
Nezu: "Well, I'd say this was a good conversation. It is nice to see you once again, Yang. Hope you continue to do good in this world as you did your original world." he said.
Yang gets up from her seat and walks to the door. As she opened the door, she heard Nezu.
Nezu: "oh and Yang."
Yang stops and turns around.
Nezu: "Good luck."
Yang smiles and gave a thumbs up before leaving the room, closing the door as she left.
