Time Skip: 1 Month
"Over this past month, I've achieved many things and am rather content with my progress."
Following the incident with the young master at the restaurant, I decided to intensify my training even further. Mornings were dedicated to rigorous exercises, while I utilized the Gamer's Mind to continue my training while resting my body through meditation. I scarcely left my inn room, but on the occasions that I did venture out, I would head to the forest, where I initially arrived in this town, in search of more herbs to create additional healing Cream. Selling it proved to be the most profitable, allowing me to amass around 107 gold coins. Equipped with a proper bag and a clear sense of direction, gathering the herbs became a more efficient endeavor.
With the accumulated funds, I could equip myself adequately for my upcoming journey. First on the list was acquiring a map of the Fen Tian Dynasty Royal Capital, a crucial asset as the former host of this body had never been there. Next, I obtained basic armor plating crafted from light steel, providing an extra layer of defense, despite my physical prowess surpassing that of anyone in the same realm. Taking my time, I deliberated on selecting a weapon that best suited me. Although I initially opted for the classic sword, I found myself still apprehensive about close combat and unfamiliar with its balance. Eventually, I settled on a spear, which felt remarkably natural in my grip, almost as if I instinctively knew how to wield it, reminiscent of my brief experience with karate in my past life. The increased reach it offered was an added advantage in handling adversaries.
Upon returning home with the newly acquired spear, I practiced wielding it in a manner similar to how I recalled my seniors handling their staffs when I was young. Despite the technical differences between the weapons, the movements felt strangely familiar and comforting.
Throughout the rest of the month, I made significant progress in my existing skills, as well as uncovering a new one, which I soon discovered to be rather potent.
~Flashback~
"Hmm... Although leveling up further with the Gamer's Mind is proving to be challenging, it was to be expected. I should endeavor to acquire other skills to enhance my mind, like meditation."
And so, I meditated (easier said than done). Initially, emptying my mind proved challenging, as in cultivation, one typically chants, and during this process, the subconscious mind clears as the energy aligns with the chant and the channels. However, after a solid hour or so, I managed to achieve the desired state. It was at this moment that I realized the similarity to how I felt in my soul state: a profound sense of emptiness.
*Ding! Meditation Lv1 Acquired*
After roughly five hours of meditation, I noticed a marked improvement in my mental faculties, understanding that meditation was directly linked to my current state of mind.
*Meditation Lv1 → Lv5*
It was at this point that I realized the system was more potent than I had initially thought, though it seemed to be advantageous for my situation.
It happened while I was mixing the herbs to create more Cream, simultaneously jotting down how different herb combinations could either enhance or potentiate the Cream's effects.
*Ding! Multitasking Lv1 Acquired*
And then it dawned on me.
'Holy shit!'
I felt it. I could now effectively split my mind between two tasks, a feat that shouldn't have been possible, but due to the Gamer's Mind, my mental processes seemed more organized. Since the Gamer's Mind was essentially a distinct skill from Multitasking, it meant that I already possessed the skill I was trying to cultivate. Essentially, while eventually, the Gamer's Mind would allow me to split my focus between two tasks, having Multitasking at this stage effectively circumvented that limitation. Consequently, if I were to swing my spear, I would enhance my Spearman ship skill. However, upon learning a specific spear technique, it would be considered a separate skill or style, while I would still retain the Spearman ship skill. This implied that I was essentially amplifying two aspects simultaneously, effectively quadrupling the effect.
'Well, that's impressive!'
~End of Flashback~
"I suppose it's about time I leave this town and make my way to the capital."
'I should pay a visit to Rashen before I depart. But before leaving the inn for the last time.'
"Status."

[Whistling noise] "Now, that's what I call rapid improvement! In just a month, I've reached the peak of the Body Refinement realm. I bet no one in both the lower and upper world can achieve this. Hehe."
'Now it's time for me to leave this town.'
As I exited the inn and headed toward the town gate, I overheard a highly irritating development that I anticipated would happen.
"Ha Ha, mongrel, I told you I would beat you. I, Young Master Peng, will teach you a lesson! Guards, get that mongrel and bring him to me with broken legs! And you commoner, you can't do anything about it as my guards are all in the Bone Refinement realm."
'For gods' sake. Do I ever get a break? [Sigh]'
