21 Get out

Mo Nung was a beautiful imp-thin girl with kohl-black-hair plunged over her shoulders; her gothic style exhibited her rebellious side, as the slender waist and the sparkly grey cat-eyes enhanced her impeccable, evil hue; a sculptor could not have displayed how perfect her Pixie nose, and swan neck, instantly jolting any upcoming spectacular with dizzying naiveness yet malicious charm, just like a poisonous Swansea, adding to it the tapered waist. Her sweet lips were lilac and soft, like the cold side of a comfortable pillow, making the perfect picture of an alluring catgirl.

The same girl I relinquished in my praises was standing in front of me, whispering with her minatory voice, as her eyes ravished every corner of my figure, "Hm, something is missing!"

Entering a contemplation period for a brief moment, she finally uttered an "Ah!", followed with, "My favorite cinnamon odor,"

She pulled out an orange bottle from her pocket and spilled some sort of fluid into my collarbone area, finishing the last touches of her "doll".

She chuckled in pure amusement.

The same previous question sprang in my mind, "What now?"

Abruptly, that kind of question got also asked, but this time it wasn't coming from me.

"What's next?" A hoarse voice reverberated in the room.

Simultaneously, Nung turned her head; in the direction of the sudden voice, glancing way back at the bed, I found Nan frowning while ferociously glancing at her sister.

However, in a second, her gaze recovered to the peaceful, familiar complexion; perhaps, she's too used to pretending to be the perfect princess, that even her body know how to fake how she really felt, yet, that split second was enough for me to see that she wasn't bearing any good attentions.

In contrast, Nung was stunned, she also felt the dangerous aura emitting from her big sister, and in her surprise, she subconsciously let go of me.

"That boy isn't a small fry like you perceive; if I didn't catch you before you hurt him, a calamity could've befallen the whole sect; I don't believe even father can save you,"

"Huh? What do you mean?" In a blank face, Nung retorted.

"All you need to know right now is that the little kid is out of your league, for your own good, I advise you, to not play your games with him,"

A smile that wasn't a smile crept on Nan's face as she strolled down toward me, "Tsk, and What did I tell you earlier?" In cloudy air, she rang.

Mo Nung's was speechless, face aghast like a zombie.

She didn't know how this boy can be anything special but the only person that she respects beside her father was naturally big sister, so she didn't try to argue; stuttering, she answered, "T..to Leave."

"And what are you waiting for?" Nan calmly sneered.

"O-okay," Nung announced in a low tone, fastly excusing herself from the room, but before she completely peered outside, she grinned in my direction.

Shortly, I was left alone with my sister.

I took the chance and spoke to my system, 'Can you show people stats? And what you can do other than that?'

<Yes, I can, and I will also be extremely useful after the age of ten where your spiritual channels and root altogether forms>

'Oh! Interesting, then quickly show me my stats'

<Sure>

A strange screen showed up in front of my pupils.

'Well, that explains a lot!' I thought.

Reading my stats, my eyes landed on my luck stats; I didn't think I will need to face such a troublesome problem.

Going back to the system's first sentence, That last feature would definitely help a lot, But wait a minute, why can't I cultivate now? Does my body have any problems?

< Not at all, At the void, forming your spiritual root is a matter of talent and incredible luck; the population have different periods where their origin take shape; most of them contain it at age fourteen, and for the fortunate kids at age twelve, while others can take several decades, or worst never awaken it>

'Hm, but the problem is how I can preserve my life till my root forms.'

<That's a problem that you will need to figure out yourself>

Nodding my head in conclusion, I asked my last question, "When does the Regressor form his root? And officially recultivate?" my concerns were widely thrown at the ruthless villain I share a father with.

<The regressor is now seven and a half years old; his fortune wasn't so great in his previous life; he didn't achieve awakening till he was sixteen years old; however, in this lifetime, it's most likely that he will use a secret technique to shorten the period.>

"What!? And how Am supposed to fight with something like that?" I yelled.

<The technique needs a scroll and some reasonably rare materials; it's in host duty to work behind the scenes and delay it as much as possible>

"Ah! I see," finally; I could look at some light behind this dusky tunnel.

To my satisfaction, a warm hand broke my ongoing conversation, leading me to pay attention to the source of the disturbance.

I saw Nan, smiling at my visage, as she was trying to distill the things that happened a couple of hours ago.

"Hi, my cute little brother, don't be mad at Nung for the swingeing behavior; since the death of our mother, she turned completely frigid and spoiled," Nan said, looking apprehensive.

Answering with a wronged voice, "It's okay; I understand,"

Insisting, she spoke again, "Now after I woke up, I need to make it out for you for both my sister and my unawareness,"

I only smiled but behind the gesture was an acceptance, as I did not want her to think that I want something from her.
