Ye Han smiled when Shen Hong asked him to confess about his relationship with the Dark guild. He thought 'I know where this is going. I hope you are fully prepared to face the consequences.'

Ye Zong says to Ye Han "Ye Han, Shen Hong claims that he has proof that you make contact with the Dark guild. What do you have to say about this?"

Here Shen Hong was talking about the deaths of people the Dark guild killed for the Sacred family so that they don't become a threat to them in the future.

We don't even have to interrogate them to know their identities. If they are normal civilians, they the wouldn't fight back." Ye Han suggested and Ye Zong said "This is a good plan and we will go ahead with this. If they really are Dark guild members, you will be rewarded."

As they were walking through the hallway, Gui Ling asked "Was it necessary to show off your cultivation? You do know that, that man Shen Hong is 3 star Black Gold rank and has a lot of experience than you. You should have just left the hall."

Suddenly, Yang Fei coughed out blood and fell to the floor. Ye Han and Yang Xin ran to him and asked what happened.

Ye Han checked his state, to check if he had a problem with his cultivation as, cultivators often face backlashes while cultivating.

Ye Han checked his pulse and after a few seconds, he immediately dropped his hand and had a horrified expression. Yang Xin noticed his expression and asked "Ye Han, what happened to grandfather?"

Yang Fei looked at Ye Han and said "You don't have to look so horrified. This is something I wanted for years."

"Why? How?" Ye Han asked, unable to believe what is happening. Yang Xin, who couldn't understand anything, shouted "What is happening? What are you hiding from me?"

Ye Han replied "He is going to die. He exhausted all his lifetime and is about to die."
