Suicide
It is illegal to attempt to suicide in North Korea. Anyone who fails their attempt will be sentenced to death on national television.
This is done in an attempt to "lower" suicide rates.
If you look at it from a very twisted perspective, this law prevents repeat offenders which would in turn actually lower numbers.
