Chamber of Time
Unbeknownst to the others, Xuan had just stepped into the final room—the Chamber of Time. Unlike the other laws, the Law of Time only had five layers. This was due to its straight forward nature, yet complex to understand and grasp at the same time.
In his previous lifetime, Xuan had wanted to comprehend the Law of Time. However, since his body had already been too accustomed to the Law of Space, it was impossible. The two were the fundamental pillars of reality, polar opposites in terms of what they did. But the same could be said about fire and water—if Xuan could comprehend both of those, then there was no reason he couldn't do the same for Space and Time.
The surrounding environment was, put simply, matching. It was an entire world of clockwork, with clocks being literally everywhere. Up ahead, the biggest one of them all stood, slowly ticking away… and it seemed that Xuan was standing on the interior workings of a clock right now as well.
