War and Chaos

When Cheng Shan was in the forest trying to improve his strength the situation on the outside seemed to have turned for the worse with two massive entities getting themselves into war.

The actions of the two corporations seemed to be affecting the entire country, even the foreign countries were affected.

This situation seemed to have shaken not only the country but the world.

Who would have thought that the fight between two families would end up impacting the interests of a lot of people?

The two seemed to have started as though having some small confrontation, but in the moment things seemed to have escalated.

Each seemed to be pulling their influence to suppress the other, but the impact seemed to be very serious.

Those involved seemed to have already chosen a side, and in this way, the war was pretty much about to descend, as chaos had already started.

Standing on a barren rocky cliff, Cheng Shan was looking into the distance with a calm gaze.

For some reason, he was more relaxed, today, after all, he had hunted down sea beasts the entire night when his consciousness stayed in the body of the clone.

He had improved slightly but had nothing to worry about. His calm and unhurried manner seemed to retire his state of mind at the moment, like someone who had attained freedom.

But this feeling was not the same for him, he could feel some vague oppression that seemed to exist and not exist.

In a way it made him think perhaps this was his illusion but this sense seemed to come from inside his body.

He had no way to verify it, and the feeling seemed hidden and impossible to find as such he did not waste time on this.

He was not able to actively use the spirit, it seemed like it had to accumulate to a certain degree before it could transform. Once that happens he could also be able to use perception.

That was a matter of the future and he did not think much about it, his sight was looking into the distance.

This was the exact reason for conflicts arising, after all when two sides are divided, it meant the line had already been drawn and only one side was supposed to get out of this conflict alive.

Humans usually resort to primitive ways of handling situations when the common methods can not solve them.

The lack of resources at the moment was just a minor inconvenience at the moment and as time went by, war was inevitable.

Looking at the situation in the world, some weaker countries were already having issues but the same some did not suffer as they had no access to resources from the two major corporations to begin with As such difficult to be affected.

The situation in the city Cheng Shan used to work in was even more severe as no vehicles were passing on the roads.

At usual times there used to be loudspeakers on some vehicles as they moved advertising products and all, but in the moment one could see the roads were desolate.

This picture did not seem to match the modern society everyone seems to have in mind.

But then again, all of this had nothing to do with Cheng Shan, he seemed to have lost much interest in what was going on outside his own house because he realized the world was controlled by a few individuals.

They had a say in what others did, even though countries were under their thumbs.

He already knew the world was complicated and he had some insights to know that one could not just control the world by their wealth alone.

That was already enough to show a lot of things.

As the situation on the outside seemed to continue worsening, Cheng Shan remained hiremainedice and in just another three days had almost attained the limit of the Five Animal Boxing, but it seemed like he was intentionally slowing down.

Indeed he did this intentionally and kept looking at the evolution of the clone.

Cheng Shan could not stop this, as such he just stopped practicing it altogether and spent his time trying to gain access to the source of the radioactive energy.

His time during the day was spent on the other side it the cliff, trying to find some entrance or make one while the clone hunted the creatures to feed on at night.
