/"You acted like a schoolboy, Xandry. What came into your mind to do like that?/"

/"I don't know, maybe because I've never seen Pyke in such trouble over a woman when Cam turned him down./"

/"But that was wrong./"

/"I know and I lost it./" He chuckled but was seemingly ashamed of what he did.

/"You deserved worse than losing./"

His lips curved in a sad smile. /"And got punches from Pyke and Dad. Saph ignored me for a month, and I lost my car, too./"

/"That was quite a story,/" I commented, leaning my arms on the countertop.

/"A very embarrassing story./" He leaned his elbows on the counter with a smug smirk on his lips. His yes took leisure strolling on my face, to my neck, and down to my chest.

Heat crawled up my neck and all over my skin. /"Are you hungry?/"

/"Yeah, I already imagine eating you in every way possible./" His smirk widened into a full grin.
