Deception
"How dare you!" The tension between Xander and Sophia's father was palpable. But she couldn't care less about what was going to take place because all she wanted was to get away from that location. Because she was not herself for the following minute, she was stunned, she felt hurt, and she couldn't control the tears that were streaming from her eyes.
"Why did Xander do it? He assured me that he would make everything extraordinary." She sobbed her eyes out.
"Let's go Sophia." She could feel the pull of both her boss and Clarissa.
"So, you're saying that this is the last engagement you have, Sophia!" Her father exclaimed that it was a really uncomfortable situation.
"Please, Sammy, put an end to that." Her mother cried, "Come on, let's go home!"
