Chapter 1 - My name is Valerie

Val POV

As I was in New York meditating on top of the Chrysler Building where I met and saw Spider-Man twice already, I told him if he ever needed help to call her as we exchanged numbers.

I was meditating on my powers, no sooner when I got here I started copying powers but also making sure I really have them under control.

Val: Well that was quick.

I stood up in my normal clothes to walk on the air to look down at the people, the people who are my responsibility to guard and protect.

As I teleported down to the alley walk on the sidewalk as I was wearing a black short dress, a white sweater, and blacks heels.

My hair is tied in a ponytail as I walk I see a protest of mutants as people were bothered by it as they were mutants as I can sense.

Then I sensed that something was coming as then I saw a stream of fire circling the protesters.

?: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Let's hear things up people, they'll be slow roasted!

I saw a man with a red and orange suite with flamethrowers on both his forearms.

I saw a giant pudgey man running through the mob of people as they scurried away.

?: Out of the way!?

Then all the metal started making a vibrating sound as they flew up into the air as I saw a man wearing a helmet which was red as he was wearing a red and purple colored attire as he landed with a woman with hair red, skin that was deep blue all over, yellow eyes that looked deadly.

I knew these guys are, enemies to the X-Men, the brotherhood.

But then a red beam shot out towards Pyro blasting him off the car he was standing on as the flames went out.

I looked over to see it came from a man with a red tinted visor.

Val: Cyclops, and looks like he brought the

X-Men with him.

As they engaged the brotherhood I brought out Muramasa and Grasscutter just incase to which I turn to see humans with guns approaching, mutant hate groups.

Man: Hey Lady, You a Mutant?!

Val: And what if I am?

Man: Then you'll be purged with other mutant freaks around here!

Val: Let's see you try loser.

The Man gritted his teeth to aim his gun on me along with his men.

Man: Kill her!

They opened fire on me but it's like the bullets are moving in slow motion and I can see there shot trajectory.

I began deflecting the bullets away as I ran to them with my swords drawn.

As began slicing gun in half and into pieces as I knocked out most of them as the last was the leader.

Leader: Oh crap!!

As I sliced his gun to pieces to the kick him on his back to twirl my swords in my hands to kick him into the building knocking him unconscious.

Val: Well that was fun.

?: Nice moves.

I turned to see a woman with beautiful purplish hair, Psylocke.

?: Names Psylocke, and you are?

Val: Valerie Darmin but beautiful women call me Val.

Psy: So does that include me?

Val: Well it should since your so gorgeous and beautiful in one word.

I'm not lying, in her outfit she's hot and gorgeous.

Psy: Thanks for the compliment, you a mutant?

Val: Yes, I can copy powers just looking at them, then it comes to my head how to use them, and yes it's permanent when I get them.

Psy: That's impressive.

Val: Yep, I got to find a place to stay.

Psy: I know a perfect place to stay.
