[Mothers pov:]

Ales and Asterio left already , really now?

I know Ales is always practicing how to fight to become a skilled warrior but what surprised me the most is Asterio I rarely even see him talk to Ales.

Truely they are your sons, I hope you can see them right know and guide them. I'm a little bit sad about Asterio being enthusiastic at fighting I really thought that he will walk the path I walk but i'm wrong.

Even if he has a weakly body he still strives to become like you, I always see him watching Ales while practicing but to see him someday actually wanted to fight no wonder who our child has taken for.

There they go to think that one day Ales and Asterio would go practice together.

UHM.

"Mother?"

"oh... ye-s yes? Eya"

"You went and mumbled stuffs "

"Sorry about that I was just saying something to my husband, that both of our child became wonderful warrior just like him."

"But its just the two of us here though and Mr.Atora your husband and Asterio's father is already gone right?"

"Yes he already passed away but you know even if he's dead I'm sure he is always by our side watching over us."

"I guess he was a great father."

"Yes, he is and a good husband also I wish you can find a man also like him."

"Hahaha, come on now mother I already found a man like him."

"Oho? And who might that be is it anyone from our barangay? Maybe one of my sons(Giggle*)"

"It's Asterio its impossible to love a monkey and a muscle brain who loves only to fight."

"By monkey and muscle brain who might that be haha."

"Its Ales and my brother those guys who only know how to fight dies early I would rather like a guy like Asterio far from danger and we could live happy and peaceful hehe."

"Thats why my husband died early, instead of taking care of himself he went and fought even if he was sick. I wish I had your personality Eya, I'm sure Asterio would love to have a cute girl like you, I remember myself in you when I was young except that I loved a monkey muscle-brained guy haha."

"Really why do guys only think of fighting its not like you need to fight everyday and moslty all they do is hunt anyway since we are on a peaceful relationship with our neigbor barangays. Buuuuut know! After awakening Asterio wants to watch the monkeys how to fight ! Well I guess he always does watch them but this is the first time he asked for it when he hasn't talked to me for long and he even made a food that put my cooking to shame, all the years I spent practicing how to cook in just a day after he woke up ! He is not the same Asterio that I know I'm sure he's possessed or something I mean he is weird no matter how we look at it. "

"There, there .... Calm yourself a girl shouldn't talk in a loud voice like that , I understand that you like Asterio so much but well, He's his Fathers son after all sooner or later he would awaken his fathers talent in him. I am also sad since I thought that he will stay at home with us so that no incident ever happen again."

"Riggh-t? Its normal to worry for the one whom you like, Asterio is being handful. "

"Haha , I guess we can't understand why they do that."

"By the way mother what is that laying on Asterio's bed it looks like a chopping board for cooking... "

"Hmm I'm not also sure let me see."

I checked the square looking thing on Asterio's bed, I don't know what this is it really does look like a chopping board since it has a flat surface but I can tell its not , it has a beautiful embroidery on it and colorful. I will take it for the meantime maybe this is the secret to Asterio's mind blowing cooking skill all of a sudden I will ask him when he returns.

"What is it?"

"I'm not sure also but it looks like something very important, you see this ? It looks very beautiful even I cannot make something like that, its solid and very neat not to boast but I am the best embroider here but even I can't make something like that."

"Really? If the best says even she can't make it, then why does Asterio have something like that when it looks like something very important."

"Sorry even I don't know we will need to ask Asterio himself to know what it is."

[Then dinner is finished]

I asked the matter about the thing I found to Asterio.

I showed the box with a beautiful look to it to Asterio then he had a surprised reaction, I know it this thing is somewhat important base on his expression.

"I REMEMBER!"

Asterio shockingly shouted

"You remembered what ?" as I asked

The three were silent as expected no one thought that Asterio could raise his voice like this, even I the person who raised him never ever heared him raised his voice even once.

"It's a book named [Las Islas Felipinas]"

I gave him that thing he called a book , I don't know what does it do but it looks like Asterio really knows about it.

The box opened .... he was flipping the box he really is weird if I say so myself I think Eya is right after all , he hasn't held a knife his whole life but he cooked like a Raja's private who cook only for him. He knows what he's doing even I don't understand everything that he is doing .

All I see is a Brown and the color of gold embroided on the so called book but more importantly I am seeing white everytime Asterio flips the book.

(I can't believe it why is this book here? This is the book I was reading in the library before I woke up in a different Era how can I forgot.)
