Sacrifice

There has been plenty of times where I made a sacrifice for someone and I sacrificed a few things; time, patience, my life, my future, and trust. It all started with my cousin spending the month at our house, as a vacation from home. She and I slept in my room, we woke up at the same time for school and everything. But since she was living under my parent's roof, she had to follow their rules about curfew. She didn't enjoy that, so she did what any other rebellious teenager would have done. Ignore curfew. If I told her anything, it was you can do anything you want, as long as you make it before curfew. She said she got it and will try to attempt to make it home before she can get in trouble. It lasted a few days or so, but once when daylight savings went back she didn't care. She came in well past midnight, and that was a streak she was on. My mother found out and told her the party she really wanted to go to she couldn't go. She was furious so she looked to me for help. Even though I was younger than her I had way more tricks up my sleeves for her. I told her to create a fake flyer so I can print out in school, show it to my mom as if its a trip, and go to the party. She and I made a deal to not talk about it at home. When she emailed me the flyer, she instantly texted me. Her first and big mistake. My iPhone was connected to my iPad which my mom was using. For heaven's sake, she tried to create a scam and it failed. My mom called me ten minutes after she got the message and asked me what was that about. I hated lying to her because it like she knows me when I lie but I still did. Because my sister and I take our tricks and games to the grave. If anything we say and we give each other the look we know it a take-it-to-the-grave secret. After I while my mom gave up trying to get information from me and just let it slide. Once I got home, it was like I escaped a death trap because not only did my mom not find out, my cousin was able to go to the party and have fun. Take it to the Grave from our parents.
